Ray Elbe, the Kuwait based MMA fighter just finished filming season 2 of Al Batal, the first Arab MMA Reality TV show thats similar to the Ultimate Fighter but based out of the UAE. This is the second season and is going to feature 12 fighters of Arab ethnicity flown in from around the world to compete for the opportunity to be champion in either the 70 kilo or 84 kilo weight division. MMA Record aside, I think Elbe deserved to be coach simply because of the fact that he went through the trauma of having a broken penis. In fact it should be registered as a win on his record. No easy task, that!

I think One FC is gonna be as big as the UFC one day. You should check out Evolve MMA, the gym Aoki and Askren train at. I used to train there back when I lived in Singapore and it’s one of the best gyms in the world. I had great times there being trained by world champions everyday. You should stop by there if you happen to visit Singapore, I’m sure they’d love to have you!

Evolve is a wonderful gym. Chatri really has created one of the best training facilities in the world, and bringing USA Olympian Heath Sims out as head coach of his MMA program has really been a blockbuster decision.
I’ve been to evolve a couple of times, the last of which was to help Phil Baroni finish making weight for his fight against Ximbica.
Wow, I had no idea, dude! Small world haha. Absolutely, the place is wonderful. To hear about Chatri’s beginnings and see how far he has come now is really inspiring. I found out some time ago they’re already about to open up their 3rd facility in a few weeks. Hope to be back there one day!
