Found this show by accident and fell in love with the storyline right away. White Gold is a show about a team of double glazed window salesmen living in Essex, England in the early 80s. The idea of a show that combines Essex, the 80s and window salesmen is so absurd that I couldn’t resist not watching it. White Gold turned out to be such a great show that I quickly became a huge fan and started pushing it to all my friends.
If you have Netflix and like 80s based shows then you need to check this one out. There is only one season and just six episodes so shouldn’t take you long to zip right through it. [Link]

Everyone needs to also check out Netflix’s new show, Sacred Games.
Highsnobiety just wrote a piece about it.

Note: It was written, directed and produced by Bollywood! Oh and there’s no singing or dancing in it. It’s a lot like Narcos only way cooler.
White gold seems interesting.
Sacred Games was a bloody great show. Cant wait for the next season.
Darn right it is!
a little inbetweeners reunion
“I’m Chuck Bass”
I only watched White Gold because the hot guy from Gossip Girl was in it 😀
For those who are into documentaries, Wild Wild Country was a pretty interesting watch too.
Wild Wild Country is an INCREDIBLE documentary about Osho and his controversial teachings.
My friend’s mom, who’s from Eugene, was one of his first followers. He totally brainwashed her but thankfully she eventually came to her senses.
my friend…every religion is brainwash…atleast osho didnt use his teachings to hurt others.
He actually did though…
The Handmaids Tale on HULU is a MUST SEE!!!!!!
Unless, you’ve been to Saudi, in which case, been there, saw that.
thank u for the recommendation.
It turns out that i have watched 3 episodes but cant remember i did!
The soundtrack!!
If you can be bothered reading subtitles, then The Forest on Netflix is a crackling French crime series, in the same vein as The Killing, The Bridge, etc. & only 6 episodes.
