The brand new Kuwait Airways terminal (T4) will be opening next month on July 25th [Source]. All Kuwait Airways flights will depart and arrive from the new terminal which should greatly reduce the traffic flow at the main terminal.
According to an article in AlQabas newspaper, the opening of the Jazeera Airways terminal has alone reduced the traffic at the main terminal by 15%, so I’d expect the opening of T4 to reduce that by at least another 30%.

I saw new pictures of the interior, it’s so cozy and warm especially with the size not being too big and intimidating. I also love how dark it is, very warm and relaxing. It also looks extremely futuristic compared to any other airport I’ve been to and shares a lot of design features that the jacc uses. I would take this over the massive T 2 are building any day. I just prey that there won’t be any porters and that they handle the building properly.

Loving the new T4 atleast via the photos, but how can you pick the T2 over the new T4 without even being in either of it.
I enjoy the fact that it is smaller and darker, I feel more relaxed in that kind of environment. It’s also very understated and has a lot of 60s elements. The new airport is huge, bright and glitzy which I find intimidating. I just feel like t4 is like a home rather than a big airport.
Agree to the smaller part too. Since I stay here I would like to get out asap when I land but for transit and first timers to this country it makes sense to have a good brand new airport. It’s the first impression of a country always.
I wonder what budget airlines moved to Saad terminal and if they moved for good.
