I have been there for a once, it was an amazing experience
and some people call it Camp Arifjail.
Can Civilians join the ” Gym ” ?
kaaak min9ijik?
so that’s where bacon comes from 🙂
OMG BACON :’D !!
Awesome! It’s a mini city by itself!
I can’t remember the name, but every time my dad went there, he would get something similar to Trail Mix – I made sure he got it in bulk always :p .. loved those stuff..
Awesome !!!
It’s not hard for people to get items that are sold on the base! Somenbody will get what you want out of there, for a price!!!! I only help friends out and not take more than what I pay for it! Others are selling turkeys and pork and shit for double or triple the cost! One of our friends paid KD40 for 2 hams( originally KD9 each)!
There was a restaurant that was serving pork in Salmiya and I bet they got everything from the base! Hmmmmm.
There isn’t enough pork for sale in the PX to supply the smallest of restaurants in Kuwait. There is also a limit of how much you can purchase. Local hires usually sell to their friends outside. This is not authorized and they will be in serious trouble if they are caught.
got booz?
Its a different experience – I’ve been there a few times.
Great place to buy stuff – but you need to bring USD with you.
“Beautiful Camp Arifjan”??? Whaaaaaa? Ok seriously, this video makes it look so nice. Try walking around around on their rock walkways in July. Not so pretty. I dunno. Maybe I’m jaded. I go there all the time so it isn’t such a big deal.
By the way, if you go to the PX, they take all major credit cards. No need for US$ unless you’re paying cash. There are also ATMs.
This is very beautiful to place to work.. I wish I was younger!! I’m qualified retired now.. just 50 years old…
Regards
” Ham is pork. Various cuts are used, usually leg or shoulder. Bacon is also smoked pork. ”
Just to clear…
Bacon is cured not smoked just to clarify.
Ok, dont make it out to where anybody can just go inside because they cant! It isnt a tourist where you just show up with a passport and just go right in! A lot of KMOD officers can go inside with an escort or special privilages where they dont need one. US military retirees can go in, embassy personnel, or on official business like local contractors doing business with the military or US contractors! If it was that open there like the Bahrain Naval Base where everybody and their mother can go on then the soldiers themselves wounldnt have so many restrictions about leaving the camp.
i see…
What the f***. My boss told me I could be banned from post for just posting pics of the stage where the Kuwait Underground happened and actually printed them out to start a f**k me over file yet stuff like this is released and no one bats an eye lash?!
I’ve noticed lately that there has been No ham for purchase in the past few months, Why is this? No Telapia fish either?
