Well, I just found one example of a franchise that will open in Kuwait (next week) and not in Dubai first. Are you familiar with this Lebanese franchise, maybe this is good news for you?

Sfeir, who opened SemSom in Lebanon in mid-2008 and also has the Dunkin’ Donuts franchise in that country, said despite the notoriously tough food and beverage US market she was confident they had spent the right amount of time developing their business model.

“The customer is very well educated, the know exactly what they want and I hope we’ve found the right formula to have something unique,” she said. “It’s Lebanese food and we want to be a chain of Lebanese food with some few items that are adapted to the North American taste and pallet.”

    Swatch is in Neuchatel.
Swatch was created by a Lebanese guy.
Lebanon is an Arab country (depending on which Lebanese you ask).
Kuwait is also an Arab country.
    Connect the World.

The match ended 0-0 (not joke)
