I took the picture above outside Costa at Marina Crescent but I’ve noticed quite a few restaurants have also closed down during Ramadan for renovations. I never liked that Costa branch since I found it too bright and uncomfortable. I’m not a fan of coffee shops anyway but I do prefer the cozy feel I get from Starbucks.

Hate Starbucks- sub standard coffee- love coffee bean, the dizzy heights of caffeindom.
All those places are over rated ! What we need is an upscale boutique coffee bars
starbucks vs Costa! i have to disagree man.. Costa is alot better
I said I prefer the cozy feel of Starbucks not their coffee. I don’t drink coffee.
Believe me Carribou Coffee’s drinks are much better then anyone else…
yeah I noticed Marina Thai and Fatoosh are closed at Sharq Mall..for renovations or questionable health codes?? lol
U know why they r renovating it? because they get sick of these old and retired smoking men with sonic (get u naked) vision!
So my prediction is they r going to make it in pink just to keep them away!
Costa has alot better coffee. They are the only ones that serve a genuine Italian cappuccino.
Personally, I think Starbucks is the best out of the “coffee shops” available but go try Dean & Deluca or Deletoile at The Avenues. These places serve up really decent coffee.
I like Caribou Cafe’s dark chocolate cafe mocha!
Costa Coffee was bought by a new owner (Behbehani Family), that’s why. And they’re opening new places.
starbucks sucks
I stop visiting starbucks for a long time after being a daily costumer! what a waste!
Starbucks = Better place and location but bad coffee and service
Costa = Bad service + bad coffee
Caribou = GREAT COFFEE + GREAT LOCATIONS
Frankom never had a bad experience in Costa! as for Caribou I did have a bad experience! I have to disagree with u… Behbehani bought Costa as said above and I visited one of their new locations in Kuwait city, the cozy part is there 😉 I hope they will do it in all Costa Coffee shops
