The 2011 Kuwait Rally is going to be held this month and I think it’s a great opportunity to take some amazing photos. It’s not often we get automotive events here and since the weather is currently great I think photography enthusiasts should take advantage of this happening.
If you’re interested to shoot the Kuwait Rally this year then you need to visit their website and fill out an application. Click on Media and then Accreditation Form on their website [Here]

Hi Mark,
Any info on the Rally schedule? Would love to be there.
Thank you
sadly their website isn’t very organized and I wasn’t able to find any info on time and locations. I would guess that once you sign up as a photographer they will tell you where the race will be held and at what time.
This guide has all the info you need – including time, location et.c

Thank you !
yeah, it’s a pretty bad site. Everything is made into PDF’s, the one Cajie linked to is the right one, but you still have to go through page after page to find the info.
From what I read, it’ll be March 11th and 12th (Friday & Saturday)
do i fill the form online??? pdf format?? and then scan it and email it to the chief officer??????
I hope I don’t miss it like last year 🙂 I believe in previous years you could volunteer to be track marshals or something on certain stages of the rally.
Pardon me but where is it exactly the race going to be held?
So if I’m just into photography for the fun of it (its my hobby) I can’t go to shoot here? Also I just turned 17, but it seems I need to be 18+?
Could any one shed some light?
I’ve sent an application for accreditation but am still waiting for a reply from them.
Info I got from the Related post (this website):
_____
The Jaber Al-Ahmad International Circuit is near the Airport. Almost the opposite side of 360 Mall (other side of the 6th Ring towards airport). Hope the above guide helps.
______
Best options for spectators would be Sulaibikhat, Super Special Stage at Jaber Al Ahmad Int. Circuit and also the Shooting Club on 6th Ring.
Almost all of Rally stages are off-road. With the right set-up, the Rally cars are capable of just about any surface 🙂

Hope that helps!
What ever happened to the Marloboro sponsored team we used to have YEARS ago- Tareq Al Wazzan I think.
