I was at Geant in 360 Mall and noticed they’re now carrying the brand Dyson. Dyson make some of the most beautifully designed products and I’ve always wondered why no one had brought them to Kuwait. I didn’t spot many products, just two actually but hopefully they will be getting more. I spotted the Dyson 10″ Desk Fan (pictured above) and it was selling for KD93 (costs KD82 on Amazon). I also saw the Dyson DC19 Vacuum Cleaner (pictured below) and it was selling for KD114.

Why would anyone buy a fancy vacuum cleaner in Kuwait? Most people out here who can afford a 114 KD vacuum cleaner will probably have maids to do the cleaning up.Don’t you think with all the inhumane and despicable things being done to maids out here the last thing on the minds of their sponsors is to give them a “Rolls Royce” of vacuum cleaners? A doubt this product would sell as much as it does in the states. I owned one in the US, loved it!
The fan is cool though.
O c’mon let us just enjoy the dyson products for a lil bit at least b4 u go all Human rights on us 🙂

Lets wait and watch how long this product remains in stores ;). Don’t get me wrong. I love this product and as an engineer its even more exciting just to own one. But realistically speaking,it won’t work for this market.

they have agent now in kuwait and their products are in X-Cite, Electrozan, Geant, Lulu hypermarket and others… they have DC23 in x-cite for 185 kd i think
the problem is that they do not have a warranty.
Geant is selling the 12 inch for 100KD plus the 10 inch for 93KD … just sayin’

Exactly! We have a/c’s everywhere, cars/office/home.
The ‘DESK’fan is a must for work, but only if 94 KD is like 9.4 KD to your bank statement :>
The Dyson fans are great! I have a couple of them including the large one (room) version.
Great if you have kids as you can stick your hand right through and not worry about losing body parts
They really blast out cold air not just circulating the air in the room like normal fans.
People swear by there vacuum cleaners! Should check out

I think we are going to buy one coz we don’t have maid, and peter I’m a kuwaiti and we clean our house with no maids, so this would help us
