Gulf Road Blues

What more can I do? I’ve already complained about the issues that take place on the Gulf Road a million times already on the blog and I haven’t seen any improvement. If anything there are less cops on the Gulf Road now then there have ever been.

Note: Yes I took this picture on the Gulf Road

Definitely a rented Porsche and he is trying to show the world that he is on a on it and he feels out of the world !

I wouldn’t call this traffic really since it lasts for only a few minutes. You want traffic you got to come to Lebanon. We have only one highway linking all of Lebanon. Imagine Kuwait with just the 4th ring road and no 5th, 6, 3rd.. etc.. That’s traffic.

When I visited Beirut there was an accident on that one road and literally nobody could get anywhere. OOPS the one road is clogged sorry guys

yeah it’s horrible. even with the new completed roadworks the traffic is horrible. for example we’re the only country in the world with an on-ramp that exits from the middle of the highway!

😀

However, as much contempt as I feel towards these types, they still are Kuwait’s one and only future, and they are, for better or worse, my people.

This picture reflects a sad, sad reality. Life wont always be as easy as it is today, yet they, no we, continue waste it.

🙁

If this is such a nuisance and big issue then either make the entire stretch pedestrian only or dig the roads up with speed breakers half feet deep every 100ft.

Organ donation and cadaver harvesting does happen in Kuwait. In fact after an accident victim dies, his kin is informed about the choice to donate organs. In fact Kuwait has one of the best Kidney transplant hospitals, with some very accomplished and experienced doctors.

Yes clearly this is frustration at a closed minded society and not being idiots who want to look cool, something that happens in all societies closed and open

My Kuwait Mantra:

They just don’t care.
They just don’t care.
They just don’t care.

When you try to be someone who gives back to society, helping in someway, and you get frustrated by what you see here, repeat the mantra.

and some of you including me commenting on posts such as these, who drives it clean?? Max 80-100kmph??loolxx. we all are the same! Nobody will change and if n all you need a change in the society, please change your self. It’s useless commenting for nothing (: hehe..

Lolx,, No Not ME! I’m not supporting him nor I’m Against you my dear Friend 🙂
This is just how everyone is behaving in Kuwait Right now! We Point out the mistakes on others, we Comment, We laugh, We Accuse them All and then on the other hand we go on to make the same Mistake! ;)) Hahaha.. Sooo TRUE!!!!!!

Well what helped was the car being white and it was well lit from behind. Also I was traveling at same speed which is how it was sharp while background wasnt

The dumbass sitting on the car, his parents probably sent him off to an expensive university overseas( which during that time all he did was drink, go to strip clubs, do drugs, and gambled, and of course paid someone to take his exams for him).

Dude if ur advocating against reckless people on the road then you shouldn’t be using your cell phone clicking snaps in the first place. that’s as bad as texting or talking…your attention is not on the road!

Why would anyone be on the gulf road anyways. I’ve been here in Kuwait for like 3 years now and I did the mistake of taking the gulf road only once and never ever after that 😛
