Gallup measured positive emotions in 148 countries and areas using the following five questions:
– Did you feel well-rested yesterday?
– Where you treated with respect all day yesterday?
– Did you smile or laugh a lot yesterday?
– Did you lear or do something interesting yesterday?
– Did you experience the following feelings during a lot of the day yesterday? How about enjoyment?
The percentage in Kuwait who answered yes to all the questions above was 79% placing Kuwait in 17th place. Impressive. [Link]

Confirmation bias? You agree when it says Kuwait is unhappy, not when it’s happy. Someone will do the opposite.
Gallup obviously surveyed a certain group of people and might add a minority!
The only thing I am positive about is that they got the country results all mixed up in this poll.
I think they did the survey when citizens had received KD 1000 !!

Wasnt rigged, they just surveyed the wealthy Kuwaitis.
I think it has something to do with most people working only 5 or even 4 hours a day at the ministry and everyday is a weekend

Of course they laughed and smiled. While tens of thousands of FN’s are getting up at 4am to go to work, Kuwaiti’s are still out from the night before riding their ATV’s on the highways and in the deserts, still at shisha cafe’s, or racing their cars up and down the street. And STILL GETTING PAID BY THE GOVT for doing NOTHING!
