Look at the bright side .. Kuwait was the highest gainer 2005 – 2006. At this rate we will be number 1 in about 10 years.
No one lives in Kuwait City, The poplution of Kuwait City is like 5 thousand or something

peeps that say Dubai is really expensive don’t know what expensive is. Dubai is more expensive than it used to be, yeh, but try Tokyo, London or Germany

When comparing Dubai to other cities, you should compare all factors. London, New York, Tokyo are expensive, yes, but you have a quality of life that goes along with that expensive lifestyle.
You have culture, you have infrastuctures, you have medicare, you have public transportation, you don’t have a million and one cranes working round the clock, etc.
That’s why people say Dubai is expensive. It’s because you pay so much for rent and food and services, but you’re not really getting much in return.
Oh, and Talal, I agree, I heard Abu Dhabi too 🙂 I just hope it won’t become like Dubai.

Bullshit, since when is the quality of life in Egypt better than Kuwait? Name me one other country that Kuwait where u get free medical care, even forigners… u only have to pay 1 or 2 KD for administrative purposes.

I live now in Dubai, and I used to live in Kuwait 6 months ago. I heard that Dubai is much nicer, but my experience here in Dubai was not as great. Believe it or not, I’m packing my stuff and heading back to Kuwait. In my opinion Dubai is way way way overrated.
