Following the opening round held in Qatar, the FIA Middle East Rally Championship continues this weekend in the Kuwaiti desert. 33 competitors will be fighting for victory in the second round of the FIA Middle East Rally Championship. If you’re interested in checking them out they’ll be starting off today from the SIRBB Circuit. Entry is free but there are limited seats.

Leg 1, Super Special Stage:
Date: Thursday, 20 March 2014
Time: 6PM

I don’t think any events are properly advertised, one has to sign up with Instagram, Twitter, visit blogs and various FB pages to find out about any event not to mention everything is in Arabic. The SIRBB track is awesome but not open to the public I guess since it’s only announced when an event is being held and Kuwait expects to attract over 1 million tourists, yeah, good luck on that.

From my research every GCC country has a pretty good touristic website except Kuwait, I did notice the website corrected their misspelled word after I posted about it.

A major issue is that a lot of the events are advertised in Arabic or traditional media like newspapers and so completely bypassing a whole generation (40 and below)

It’s a 2 day event and I am sure not all stages are at SIRBB. Does anyone know where the Friday stage is taking place?

I never said all the stages are at sirbb, they will start at sirbb today. For the full schedule click the link I posted. I am on my phone now so can’t copy paste it here now
