Previous Post Removed

I’ve been blogging for what now 15+ years? and I can count the number of posts I’ve removed. Even the Benihana posts which I went to court over and lost are all still up on the blog. I’m very against removing posts which is why I’m upset I had to remove one now.

Earlier today I posted about a new online business that launched and then someone from that business started leaving fake reviews in the comments. They were so obvious, not only because of the tone of voice or the fact they shared similar IPs, but also because some of the comments were responding to comments that were still under moderation waiting for me to approve them. Meaning only I and the original commenter could see those comments and nobody else.

As much as I hate removing posts from my blog, any business that has to resort to this kind of bullshit and waste my time is not going to get any sort of promotion on the blog.

I was literally about to ask the same question. For some reason I thought that you won, but then I thought I remember you came to some sort of a mutual agreement; but I never thought you lost! I know I’m a bit late to the party, but weird law allows a business to win a case against someone who just wrote from their pov?

Hahahahaha what a piece of garbage move on their part!

Also please download my app. Benihana theatrical artistic fruit ninja Chop from the iOS store or Google play! 4.7 star average user rating! Make money from home now!

Ok great, please download it. There are barely any downloads and active users so also give it 5 stars so it gets a higher average and it helps with the algorithm! Thanks!

Well I’m glad. Not sure what your readership is but taking into account primary readers and possible forwards, you taking down that blog means a little less garbage dumped in Kuwait. Whatever the reason thanks for taking that down. It’s your blog but I’m sure you can find better things to blog about.

I was wondering the same. Then I found that post in my RSS feed.

I don’t want to explicitly say name of that site or anything as Mark decided not to. Just a clue *1 Dinar!*

Guys, what if it was someone close to them that genuinely thought it was a good business and wanted to help them out by leaving good comments. I missed the post and not sure what kind of business it was but I’m just saying. I know if one of my kids friends came over and mentioned they are the ones that stared a new cupcake place that I have tried recently and liked I would go online and leave a good review. Wouldn’t you?

omg its been a while since I’ve commented! I just want to say that leaving fake positive comments is a cheap marketing ploy that if any company/brand chooses to partake in that tomfoolery needs to restructure their organization!

Hope all is well with you Mark (or as well as can be given how shitty the world is nowadays,) and all of your readers!
