This is a video from Dove’s campaign for real beauty where you see a girl get a heavy makeup and then “fixed” in photoshop before she’s beautiful enough for the ad. [Link] #
Holy crap! Thats pretty crazy how different she was! I didnt know they went thaaatt far!
Photoshop is EVIL! hehehe
nothings real!
lol this is possible and happens often in the industry but no where near this extent. PS is used mainly to airbrush skin inconsistancies and little nips and tucks here and there, not to make ppl waaay different like stretch their neck and shit. no decent place with any sort of photographic integrity would do this sort of shit.
if you think about it, it would be cheaper for the agency to just hire a decent looking model instead of a complete fucking acne ridden troll like in the video. or just have like ppl from the office pose and then jsut totally give them a new face. this shit takes hours and is a waste of time. it makes no financial sense.
this is just some bullshit faux awareness propaganda by a LOL beauty soap company LOL. if they didn’t make ppl think they were more beautiful using their soap, they’d be out of business. no they are trying to appeal to the oprah crowd.
also i dunno about yall but the end result was still kinda shitty, bc there is only so much you can do in PS to cover ugly features.
What can I say! Brilliant.
damn holla you must hate that soap!
Holla I disagree with you PS can cover all ugly features and if your good in photoshop something like that would take you like 15 minutes to do…
If I tried to do something like that would probably take me 10+ hours just to save the file 😛
and not look as professional as that…
lol marzouq, fuck dove, lux is better 😉
Guys, Just for the record, the program used in the ad is NOT PHOTOSHOP. Just take a close look.
Although photoshop is capable of the gigs shown in the video, the program they’re using seems like a specialized “beautification” software that can do the job much quicker than photoshop can.
it looks like a fake software, like one of those from CSI.
