A lot of people have iPods and a lot of people listen to them using the white earbuds that came in the box. The earbuds look pretty but really aren’t doing your music any justice since they aren’t very good. This is why I always suggest to friends to invest in a decent pair of headphones like they just invested in the mp3 player.
One brand I always suggest they give a shot is Sennheiser. They have a large variety of headphones so people are bound to find one that suits their needs. My first pair of Sennheiser’s were the PX100 which were amazing as I reviewed previously on my blog.
Anyway a friend of mine passed by aDawliah yesterday who are the dealers for Sennheiser in Kuwait and he told me they currently have a sale and their prices are now cheaper then Amazon. Not only that but the staff their were very helpful and even let him try on and listen to a variety of headphones until he found one that he liked.
So if you are still using your original Apple white earbuds or are looking to buy a new pair of headphones then now might be the best time to buy one. The easiest aDawliah branch to find is the one right across the street from Marina Mall. They are also dealers for Bose but I wouldn’t recommend them since they are over priced and don’t sound that great.

I got Bose In-Ear headphones for my birthday, with the changeable ear buds… only problem is the buds keep falling off, so it’s only a matter of time before I lose them.. But they do sound great!
I want to get noise-cancelling headphones but I always worry about being completely sealed off from the world for long periods, it freaks me out!
So which is better? Bose or Sennheiser?
Sennheiser much better…try Sennheiser Momentum over ear..
well if you want in-ear (canalphones) then Sure, Etymotic Research and Ultimate Ears make the best. I would recommend Sure from the three but thats because thats the brand I prefer although all three are pretty close in quality.
There are loads of noise-canceling headphones out there but if you have canalphones they are sound isolating which means they block out a lot of the noise around you by not letting any sound into your ear.
If you want regular headphones that have noise-canceling my advice is to do some research at the headfi.org forums
While you are there ask those audiophiles if Bose is any good.. although I wouldn’t advice it since you will get a beating!
Bose is all marketing and talk but their products are average and in some cases below average. For the same price you would pay for Bose you can get some serious good shit from other less marketed brands like:
Sennheiser
Etymotic Research
Sure
Grado
Beyerdynamic
AKG
Ultimate Ears
From the list above I have
Sennheiser open-air headphones
AKG closed-air headphones
Sure canal earphones
Here are two reviews I have on headphones:
https://248am.com/mark/personal/review-akg-k81-dj/
https://248am.com/mark/kuwait/sennheiser-px100-review/
I also have the Bang&Olufsen A8’s but they are crap
On my wish list I have the Sennheiser 485’s
and the Beyerdynamic DT 990
I like sennheiser its great!!! always clear sound with a great amount of base without the problem of cracking!
Sennheiser makes good headphones but if you can spare littel extra kd’s go for Bose
nxman the extra kd’s will go to waste because you will be getting a worse brand
one word: V-moda,
although they cost a hefty 101$ they are the best in-ear headphones from all four: Sony, Bose, Sennheiser and V-moda.
eRamzi if you want in-ear headphones you need to check out the shure, Etymotic Research or ultimate ears brands. they make the best in-ear phones. prices start at around $99 for cheapest and up to $1000 for the high end.
v-moda is same rank as sony, panasonic, bose, sennheiser etc..
Mark i was in dawliay Bose & Sennheiser’s showroom few months ago shopping for head phones and I’ve tried both and i have to say both were fine but i liked Bose more maybe new models have improved over Bose.
I have few over ear headphone such as bose qc15, solo republic calvin harris, beats by dre, sennheiser momentum ..etc..but among all bowers & wilkins P7 is my favorite.
