Looks like Burger King is trying to get on board the sliders train with their new offering, Burger Buddies. Was Burger Boutique the first to offer sliders in Kuwait or was there another place before?
Update: Just had it today and it wasn’t bad at all. The bun was very soft, the patty was juicy although as some people have mentioned slightly dry. My only negative would be the fact that each patty is shared among two buns which means you need to rip them apart and sometimes that results in one bun having more patty then the other. Six sliders is for KD1.300 while the combo is for KD1.750

NINO was the fitst if im not mistaken much earlier than burger boutique..
Yeah I think Nino was the first with sliders or mini burger as they call it
Anyone tried them yet?
im going to try them today
btw is that the muthana branch :P?
Great Steak has started something similar as well. tried it and its a waste at 2.850. Nothing beats Sliders
Nino was the first
its good but not like nino
is the mini burgers in all branches
BK in the UK, had them last christmas.
They are not bad, but they tend to have to much bun for the burger so can be a little bit to dry when eating
Well, just a small advice STAY AWAY FROM FAST FOOD! : ‘ )
Nino was indeed the first, and they had/have a weird name for them too… but damn they’re good!!
nino had them. Called routteni i beleive
Yes Armani Exchanger, we need to give Mark a crash course in healthy food. You are so far behind every one els Mark..=)
Nino
those are not sliders, its just a normal burger but it looks like a silder.
thats a slider..
me and my friends tried it in Spain or Switzerland cant remember..
but we all almost vomited.. it was so bad..
they look like they’re joined together.. do you have to tear them off one by one ?
they’ve been in the UK for a while, they are mini burgers for kids and just a plain little cheeseburger
I tried it today and I really enjoyed the experience. it is tasty. combination between cheeseburger and hamberger. the bun is unique and soft.
I personally liked it. thanks for letting us know about it.
Yummiiiiiii.
I’ve had them too, at first i thought “six burgers is too much!” but i ate them all and still was hungry. but for 1.3kd that’s fair price.
the meat patties are rectangular, each two burgers share one patty, so you have to tear them before eating, and they are smaller than sliders.
what’s with this Kuwaiti obsession of tiny burgers.. Its really starting to get on my nerves. What’s next…mini fries for gods sake??!?!
i’ve tried them in London … very yummy, i hope they taste yummy in kuwait as in london.
Heeeeeey Mark I got YOU this
Smell za beef !
LOL ! 🙂
Nino
Fuddruckers offered them in 2000 as a Kid’s Meal Burger.
Taste good tried them last night
BK been offering this since 1993
i tired them last night! very nice but can be dry because of the bread .. i did get them to add extra mayo which only made it taste better .. I loved them and will be having them again soon ..
fuddruckers have had the kiddie burgers which are mini burgers for a while..
What does Sliders means?? whats the meaning behind the naming? is it because its small and simply slides in your throat??
I always thought that the reference to sliders was because of the tv show “Sliders”
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sliders
You eat the burger and it dissapears in another dimension (your stomach).
But you may be on to something about sliding down your throat.
Nino nino oh and Nino did it first.
lol the funny thing about this is when i called bk the dude who works there called this The Burger BADAAY not buddies its like a french word BADAAY 😛
They are called sliders bc they are so small and greasy, they just “slide” into your mouth and through your digestive system to make their way out of your arse. No wonder they’re big in Kuwait LMAO.
Mark you should update this post .. Nino was the first to introduce sliders…
There is a difference between Sliders and Mini Burgers…Nino was the first to bring down mini Burgers aka routinis, Burger Boutique is the first to introduce Sliders a square shaped tiny burger and expand on it. That was created back in the 20’s by White Castle.
I tried them today. Theyre great. 5/5
Its not the matter who launch it first in Kuwait since it is an existing product in the US and everywhere. but I can easily say, the one I tasted in Burger King was really tasty. I’m being adicted to it.
I have been eating them for lunch for the past few days! they are amazing! love’em
Waw all these comments about this
