Aramex dropped off my Konia Auto S3 rangefinder today. It turned out to be a lot smaller then I expected, maybe around half the size of the Yashica Electro 35 GSN which I got last week. I actually bought this camera because it was going to be small since Nat will be using it and its small enough to fit into her hand bag. Now we just need to find something to shoot!

Its missing a Leica , also I would have thought a person of your tastes would have a classic German camera.
a leica is always the last camera you get. traditionally you are supposed to sell all your cameras before you die and then get a leica 😉
Lol ! true 😀
Just wondering why don’t you invest in some quality lenses for your Nikon D90 instead of buying more cameras and why are you so into shooting film instead of DSLR?
I have invested in quality lenses for my D90. I have a 50mm 1.8 and a 28mm 2.8. Thats all the lenses I need.
Now as a bonus I have the 50mm 1.4 from my Nikon FE, its manual focus and exposure but its great (shot the picture above with it). I also have a shity 28-80mm G type lens that came with the F65 which I never use. Finally I have a 18-105mm VR lens that came with the D90, I never use it also cuz its too big and not bright enough for me but its there in case one day I need a zoom lens (maybe Gulf Run 5?). But my 28mm and 50mm lenses are the only lenses I use really. I actually spent like 5 years with just the 50mm and just recently acquired the 28mm.
Shooting film is a different experience compared to shooting digital, its more entertaining plus you’ve got better and nicer film cameras compared to digital.
Too many cameras and nothing worth a shit to shoot here. Good luck.
When I bought my D90, I asked for the body only and I saved almost $400. I paid $1029 CDN for it. I also have a 50 mm 1.4 G and I use it a lot… more then anything else so I understand why you’re happy with it but I mean a nice fast zoom lens would be nice for some walking around photography. Do you mind telling me more about your 28 mm lens and how much you got it for?
I didn’t want the D90 kit but I got it when it was first released like in September or something and they hadn’t released thee Body Only version back then.
I would never carry a zoom lens for walking around because they are too big and too heavy. I just carry my 50mm or 28mm, makes the whole camera a lot more portable.
This is the 28mm lens I have

I just checked your 50mm lens out, its cool that it works with full frame cameras but the problem I have with G lenses is they don’t work with older cameras like my Nikon FE.. no way to control the aperture!
My 50mm 1.4 is a much older model. Its manual focus and its not a D lens meaning I have to control the shutter speed and aperture manually.
Thanks for the link, I want to buy a prime wide lens but I think I want something wider. If you have pictures with that lens and your D90 somewhere online, please post a link so I can take a look.
By controling the shutter speed and aperture manually, do you mean if you set your camera on Aperture priority, it doesn’t give you the shuutter speed automaticly as you change the aperture? I never had to chance to play with one of those.
Did you give up on me or what? lol
oh sorry. forgot to reply back.
the lens has no electronic part. the camera can’t read the amount of light passing through it and it can’t calculate the shutter speed or aperture so it has to be done manually. there is no way to know if a shot is over exposed or under exposed until u take your first shot and then judge accordingly
