It’s every parents’ worst nightmare to lose a child, and sometimes the only consolation is to preserve memories and keep mementos. Harry is a hot rod enthusiast, hence his nickname, Hot Rod Harry. He also has a passion for vans and motorcycles, as well as being the proud of owner of a 2011 Ford Mustang GT. As was his son, Dylon, who sadly passed away earlier this year. He was only 24. Dylon actually ended up selling his Mustang back in October 2012 to a dealership in North Carolina, and now Harry wants to buy it back.
According to the article the car was sold to a buyer here in Kuwait and the father is now looking for help in trying to find his sons car so he could buy it back. It’s a long shot but figured I’d try to help him by posting about it here. The vin number of the car is 1ZVBP8CF7B5156798. For more details check out the article [Here]
Thanks Ahmad

If you know anyone in the MOI ask them to search for the VIN on their system and get the name/phone number of the owner. Not sure about the legality of this but it is possible.
yeah thats actually what i am hoping someone would do
I think it’s illegal for anyone to access people’s private information held at public institutions, let alone share it unless there’s a legal justification for it.
It’s a reach out before he adopts illegal means.
I know. I just wanted to mention that.
you can check with the ford dealer in kuwait
+1
Thanks so much everyone for trying to locate my son Dylon’s Mustang. You truly are friends…Sincerely, Harry
Welcome aboard! Harry, if it is here we will find it.
I keep praying. ..thanks again for trying.
why does he want it back? i don’t understand the importance.
Khair, if Allah wills!
Lucky… The Mustang belonged to his son who passed away. Its a memory he wants to take back home to cherish. Thats the importance.. ..
Hi Harry.. hope you get the Mustang.. Don’t know how much this will help but I will reach out to some friends in the MOI that I know. As long as its not anything too illegal maybe they can help. 😉
Mark ..you are truly something else..your selfless need to help people using your blog is amazing 🙂
Try to find out if the car was sold to a student in North Carolina (who then probably brought the car with him to Kuwait) or whether the dealership sold and shipped the car to someone in Kuwait.
After reading the article… I can see why you want the car so much.
Oh just to let you know (don’t know if its gonna make you happy or sad…), if its a manual it means that it was probably/likely/maybe street raced. Now that could mean the owner fully pampered the car or…
Anyways I hope you find it and that its in good condition!
The easiest would be to reach out to the dealer. If the car has ever visited the Garage for any service, the owner record would be available in the system. Someone from the dealer could then talk to the owner without disclosing the information publicly. It’s then up to the owner to decide.
Thank you everyone for trying…my email is [email protected] if anyone finds it. Have a great week! Harry http://www.HotRodHarrys.com
