The World’s Friendliest Countries

According to a survey held by HSBC, Bahrain turned out to be the friendliest country in the world. Couldn’t find Kuwait on the list not even after I downloaded the full report from the HSBC website. That’s probably because there is no HSBC in Kuwait. Here is the top 10 friendliest countries:

1. Bahrain
2. Canada
3. Australia
4. Thailand
5. Malaysia
6. South Africa
7. Hong Kong
8. Singapore
9. Spain
10. United States

Sorry but where does it say Bahrain comes in first place?

On the HSBC website you just posted, it says:

“Canada comes top of world’s largest expat lifestyle survey”
“Australia and Thailand rank 2nd and 3rd respectively”

I agree, Bahrain is friendly. The people there are just amazing. I wont put Kuwait even in the top 100 (coming out from a Kuwaiti mouth).

Canadians and their country ARE friendly. Too bad that so many people of Kuwait see us as second class citizens in their country.

Bahrain has, over the years managed to liberate itself from the perennial laziness that plagues the administrators of the oil rich Gulf nations. They have started focusing on commerce and have reduced their dependence on oil. Bahrain and Dubai are two locations in the Middle East where it is possible to experience efficiency when it comes to this stuff.

Not surprised to see that we’re not on the list, we Kuwaitis [coming out of another fellow Kuwaiti] are unusually belligerent. Road rage, staring, swearing, warped attitudes, egotistical self-inflation – yeah, yeah, it’s everywhere, but there’s a bit TOO much of it here, n’est-ce pas?

No wonder Kuwait is not on the list… It is a well known fact, for example, that expat domestic workers in Kuwait are abused by their Kuwaiti sponsors… and it is indeed equivalent to modern day slavery…

i agree with ^b.

If you just go to fahaheel , on streets you will see how Just REAL friendly these kuwaitis are…

Last july I spent two nights in bahrain I witnessed 5 fights
1- a saudi with an american in a bar
2- two saudis with an austrailian in a night club
3- a fight between bahraini taxi drivers in front of my hotel
4- a kuwaiti with a morrocan whore next to my room
5- a drunk bahraini guy with a police officer in the airport

@ funny story:

Kuwaiti’s rule the world. We weren’t born to be friendly.

LOOL wow, u have no idea how disappointed you will be when you step out of this country and find out that half the people in the world does not even KNOW of Kuwaits existence, take it easy man, ur way to proud.

OMG i can’t belive we still have this BS going on, “we’re kuwaity we rule the world” rule based on what? yes they rule when it comes to the worlds most idiots, yes we rule with rudest people alive. Rude and proud thats a first!! Allah yaster 3laina..
Funny story
“we were not born friendly” mashallah tabrak il ra7man oo mistans oo far7an, are u proud? allah yaster KUWAITIES know they are rude just what we need, recognition of thier faults and being proud of it!!!

South Africa is the 6th friendliest country in the world? is that before they rob and kill u or after? 😛

and by the way…there is a HUGE misconception that bahrainis are friendly…lol….well maybe they WERE years ago..like the older generation…but not today…i lived in bahrain for five years…yes u will find friendly people…but in general…they are as bad as us if not worse

how do u expect q8 to be in the list ,when the draconian labor law hasn’t changed since 1963

I beleive that what they ment by Bahrain Freindly is that the rule and regulations for businees wise and bank wise are very good and convenient actually they are RIGHT!!! don’t hate this list just because another arab country has become in an international list! ask yourself why did ZAIN moved their HQ to Bahrain?! you see what i mean… I love Q8 and some of its people are actually very freindly, if you hate kuwait you can leave no one is forcing you to stay

ofcouse I do hope someday the labor law would change but all in all it’s a nice country..

PS/ Lebanese Citizen

When the last drop of oil will vaporate, Kuwaities would become as friendly as Bahrainis.
What a shame!

moe80s: using Zain’s move to Bahrain as an example to reflect Bahrain’s “friendliness” is a very bad example. Zain’s customer service is terrible and don’t get me started on Wataniya.

Canadians in Canada / from Canada are very friendly.
However, most “Canadians” I meet in Kuwait have spent 90% of their lives in either Cairo, Beirut or Amman!
This does reflect in their personality and culture and tends to distort opinion somewhat.

new labor law is to applied,

at least this is the rumors I’ve been hearing that it’s been approved by majles al omma, and i saw it in al-watan news paper

30 days vacation, 40 working hours a week, 12 sick leaves days\

21 Days for HAJ !

i pray to god to be applied, the whole country will be refreshed, at least i can promise i would spend more money in this country, only if i have the time to !

OMG Boomup you hit the nail on the head! Your description of Kuwait is the best I have ever seen. The only suggestion I have is to add something about Kuwaiti teenagers thinking they have the rights and power of God!, and that left turn lanes are not for turning left, but to be used to get around traffic and gain position…
I have always said the as individuals Kuwait’s are VERY friendly and nice people, but as a collective group, they are the rudest in the world…

Boomup and Ron: teenagers are like that in every country, thats what teenagers are like. so go screw yourselves..

ross, you must be a Kuwaiti teenager… Your vocabulary supports that. But you are wrong… And with such a weak mind you will never see it. Now go play with your dolls and let the adults talk…

Al-Watan news paper Thursday Dec 24th, New Labor law confirmed by majles al omma on Page 26,

all what we need now is an Amiri Agreement, and Kuwait Al yoom publishes the new LAW !

@ Boomup and Ron the discussion is about labor ,business and bank laws! not about how society work! honestly I am shocked that each time Mark post something like that you go on and curve the subject to living in kuwait! WTF!? if you hate this country and its people and its laws as I said before no one is forcing anyone to stay! as for what you wrote about traffic light ! when did you ever see a kuwaiti go on if it was RED! concerning the huge famillies and the car amount well they do need to grow the population! and they have enough money to buy hundreds of cars THAT’S NOT YOU BUSINESS!

alot of things are bad in this country but that doesn’t mean it’s the worst country all countries have problems!

@Mesh Finally I hope they sign it and get it over with, it took them a while

moe8s, the discussion topic was and is “The World’s Friendliest Countries” and not “labor, business and bank laws”. I was on topic in my feelings and opinion why Kuwait did not make the list and boomup was right on target too. I do agree that no one is forced to stay to a point. Many laborers have no choice but to take the abuse they are given so they can feed their families and live a somewhat normal life. As for me, I made my millions and am now retired in Europe living a great life; free from all the BS that Kuwait had to offer. I do miss the few good things, but it is far better where I am now to more than offset it. Oh, and I saw many, many Kuwaitis run red lights, with and without cameras to catch the action.

kuwait without doubt is the most boring, lame country ive ever been to….(i lived in 7 countries) and the Kuwaitis here are extremely spoilt. and if u telll me that no one is forcing me to stay here well ur wrong =]

Ha, for those who say Canada is friendly should check out Quebec (leave Montreal and speak in English). The attitude is out of this world. One instance I will never forget (there were a few, but this stood out) is a restaurant around Mont Blanc that froze in silence after our table spoke in English, a waitress that served every table but ours and then threw the butter knife across our table when we mentioned it was missing. Yeah, just for having Quebecois Canada should drop a few notches.

@RON well I haven’t seen any one crossing the RED light for the last 2 years! as for the subject what banks mean by freindly is the laws that goverment offers for citizens.. it’s not how you live there it’s more like what the goverment have to offer.. what you’re both talking about is totally different and not relative to the subject as someone else said in this post that in Bahrain you see alot of fight and drunk people in the streets not to mention Whore all over the country! you get the point! As for the millions you’re talking about it’s a shame that you gained all this from this country and now you’re talking about it as such!

i swear to god…all of the idiots here bashing kuwait probably kiss ass the most in real life…u can feel the frustration of not having enough balls to voice their real feelings and opinion of this country and its nationals..

well guys…no one is forcing u to live in such horrible conditions really…if ur here cuz u wanna make money…well then suck it up and STFU

If you don’t like it here in Kuwait, then stop whining and leave to your heavenly countries……..where am sure its all friendly and 100% safe!

Kuwait is not good to foreigners as these countries are.
Foreigners can not own business in Kuwait they need a Kuwaiti partner and work could not be done easily.
Kuwait is not open for business for foreigners and they could not easily settle.

Whoever put Bahrain as the top friendliest country is seriously deranged! I’m an Asian expat living and working here in Bahrain for 5 years now. Bahrain is full of British expats – most of them are racist. Riots are common – (mostly hate crimes) happening around the Island especially in Hamad town! A large number of domestic workers are abused by their sponsors… Saudi nationals proliferates the streets of Bahrain – they are crass, vulgar, they drive crazy, use abusive language especially to women, they absolutely have no respect to other people.

And oh just 2 days ago… my friend was robbed by two Bahraini locals – they took his laptop, his money, his phone. After taking his possessions, they beat him up. Oh yeah… I guess they were friendly enough to leave him alive, I guess.

B G T R —- easier said than done. You see, in our native countries, there are lots of educated and competent workers, so therefore less of a job market.

Kuwait NEEDS us here because so many of you hate to get out of bed before noon or do a job properly. So, while we may dislike living amongst you, we like taking your money to do jobs you could never do. Your esteemed country would fall apart without us… and keep up with the current way of worker maltreatment, racism, slavery, greed and corruption and you will probablly see this place come crashing down.

q8teacher…so ur here in kuwait out of the kindness of ur heart right?? wow we appreciate ur sacrifice!! we dont dislike u living amongst us…we dislike u living amongst us and whining about it 24/7…and why cant we do the jobs that u do?? what r u a rocket scientist?? ur just a teacher buddy get over urself…and our esteemed country was here before u came…and will remain here after u leave…and as for kuwait crashing down…keep dreaming…and i find it hilarious when a westerner talks about slavery, racism, greed and corruption…tell me where ur from and ill tell u why its so funny

q8teacher one more thing…if YOU were competent to begin with, u wouldnt have used the “in our native countries, there are lots of educated and competent workers, so therefore less of a job market” excuse..
spoken like a true inept person lol..

Big Man Spartan,

All countries have histories of ill treatment and atrocities, but for many they are in history. Sadly, in 2009, Kuwait is still on Human Rights Watch lists and known for its racism and corruption. Kuwait has little respect outside of its own border; maybe you are just blind to it. But if you are so sensitive to it, whay dont you try to change the mentality and practices of your nationals? I am not voicing only my opinion…ask most expats and they will agree.

And look to your history. To have any major development from the formation of neighborhoods, to your precious oils fields, and being saved from Iraq during the war you needed workers and minds from outside. That will never change. You are a small nation, so to some extent that is expected. However, my point it, you need to treat ALL of the workers you come in to help and better your country with humanity and value. And dude, Im more than a teacher. Dont judge what you dont know.

q8teacher u seem too embarrassed to reveal ur country of origin…i guess u can dish it but cant take it huh?? =)

buddy…most of my friends are expats..and they LOVE living in kuwait…some of them even more than their own countries…they appreciate that kuwait provided them with jobs..when theyre own countries didnt…they appreciate that kuwait provided them with safe havens…when their own countries persecuted them…they appreciate that kuwait does not burden them with taxes…when their own countries do…

ofcourse im talkin about people who have loyalty and respect to the country that provided them with everything that their own countries didnt….not the dogs who bite the hand that feeds them =)

yes kuwait did ask for help…but gives more than it ever received…i work for kuwait fund for economic development…we built half of the world..

and yes u might be more than a teacher…but u dont do anything that other people cant do…so stop blowing ur own horn..if u can find it..try to practice what u preach…u dont wanna be judged? dont judge..

no one can deny that many kuwaitis have attitude problems towards others…but guess what? this problem is not exclusively available in kuwait…its only more evident here in kuwait cuz its a small country and everyone is in everyones face all the time..

if ur fair, ud realize that all the negative aspects in kuwait are available in every other country…with different degrees yes…but they are available…

so again…if an expat is willing to tolerate the negative aspects of kuwait…then pretty pease, with sugar on top…dont whine like a 5 year old about them…if ur not willing to tolerate them…then make sure the door doesnt slam ur ass on ur way out of here =)

Spartan, Im from Canada — not ashamed of it. Yep, Im here to make a salary — tax free — and then get out, back to civilization.

Kuwait built half the world?! Wow. That’s impressive, and somehting I didnt know!

Im not whining. Im truely saddened by what I see around me, as most expats are — kids hitting maids, mothers leaving their children to these maids to raise, ridiculous and reckless driving practices, WASTA system for promotion (heck, for everything!!), severely underpaid and ill-treated domestic workers etc. These practices ARE NOT everywhere else. You seem so quick to make a joke and make excuses, but what are you doing to stop all of this in your country??

If we, as shocked and concerned expats, make any observation or complaint your standard response is “get the f*** out then”. What does that solve? All of these injustices should NOT be tolerated.

And by the way, what I can tolerate —to a minimum— is seeing your nationals open their car door and throw garbage onto their country’s ground. I dont understand it though. I do tolerate all of the blatant stares that I get when I go out, just because I am blonde. I am used to rude, married dishdasha-ed men thinking they have the right to proposition me just because I am a Westerner, so that must mean I am a porno star. I can tolerate the air pollution too, but some things — as mentioned above — should never be accepted, and just because we voice resentment for these racist/irresponsible/barbaric/unholy practices does not make us ungrateful for the jobs Kuwait has provided us with, or comparable to “whining” 5 year olds…

Make sure u make enough money to last u after u go back to “civilization”…ur inept behind wont be able to find a job in ur country…u know..the job market being tough and all lol…next thing u know ur back here working ur tail off trying to make a living in the only country that ever gave u a chance with arms wide open..then u bit it =)

oh yeah…kuwait fund has helped builed the infrastructure of 101 countries around the glob…u dont know about that? u mean ur another ignorant north american?? shocking!! its not too late for u buddy…google is here for ur rescue..

ur not saddened by the spiking death rates due to accidents resulting from alcohol consumption in ur country?? and ur not saddened about the increasing number of bastards in ur country?? ur not saddened by the increase of crime rate in ur country?? no?? i see..

if u truely believe that wasta, abuse, child negligence, and reckless driving are exclusive in kuwait, then u need to read more often and broaden ur horizon…comic books dont count! =)

ummm what jokes and excuses did i make?? i didnt deny that kuwait have problems..i just said they are present everywhere else too…apparently u dont read what is being written to u..

ummm who r u making suggestions for?? do u see anyone with authority around u??? ur merely bitching and whining like a little boy…and please, read what u wrote above carefully, then come and say “concerned expats”..

u make it sound like as a canadian person, the issue of racism is foreign to u lol…u seriously want the readers to believe, that there is no racism in canada?? wow…can u say “delusional”???

ummm and by the way…bitching constantly about life in kuwait..as if the hell on earth and everywhere else is just heaven, makes u an ungreatful and whining 5 year old =) if u have recommendations that u wanna voice to better the life in kuwait, make sure u use proper venue…otherwise, its just noise..and lots of whining

this post went way over your head guys come on! it’s just a top 10 freindly countries.. So you’re not freindly as Bahrain (Business wise) BIG DEAL! you guys (everyone) manage to turn this post to a racist dialogue that ended in a badly way.. I think Mark should lock this post

Not because im from kuwait it means that’s why ill be on your side Spartan, but you really have a point about our great country who was and still is giving people and feeding families, but what we’ve always known is that kuwait was always betrayed from the people who eats and bites back.. So nothing is new here and finally its a post about finance and HSBC’s record.

spartan – you made some good points early on and then turned to the whole ‘if you dont like it fuck off’ attitude that us expats hate about kuwait.

q8teacher – yes, there are many things about kuwait that are sadly prevalent all over the country like the way maids are treated etc…but at the end of the day, its easier for any expat from anywhere in the world to get a job here than in Borth America or europe where its almost impossible to get a work permit.

I think you both need to get a life. Kuwait has its good points and its bad points just like anywhere else in the world, but you both neglected to talk about the most important thing missing here which is BOOOZE. legal alcohol served in bars full of interesting people. THATS what we need here and thats what might help take the edge off a bit. cheers

@ Spartan

If this is a dialogue, how do you define an argument !!!???? Allah la eywa2e3na ma3ak !!!

Ok guys & girls !! I would like to end all that with a joke that somehow related to the current situation… and Spartan I dedicate this joke to you from a poor Palestinian gal 🙂

In Jerusalem , a female CNN journalist heard about a very old Jewish
man who had been going to the Wailing Wall to pray, twice a day,
everyday, for a long long time. So she went to check it out.
She went to the Wailing Wall and there he was!She watched him pray and after about 45 minutes, when he turned to leave, she approached him for an interview. “I’m Rebecca Smith from CNN… Sir, how long have you been coming to the Wall and praying?” “For about 60 years.” “60 years!

That’s amazing! What do you pray for?” “I pray for peace between
the Christians, Jews and the Muslims. I pray for all the hatred to
stop and I pray for all our children to grow up in safety and friendship.
“How do you feel after doing this for 60 years?”
“Like I’m talking to a wall.”

O Please END IT with a SMILE !!!!

moe80s…i know dude, i was merely replying to the ignorance that i read on here..

Dudeq8..i didnt mean to offend expats…like i said..most of my friends are expats…but then again why would u feel offended? i didnt mean people like u who appreciate kuwait DESPITE its short comings =) and booze is not missing in kuwait..u know u have at least a bottle at home lol..
oh and PS: i already have a life, when will u get one? i recommend u start it with some AA meetings =)

Hielda looool good one =)

Neighborhood..3ala rasi..

ross…int ba3ad..3ala rasi..

Glad to see all laughinggggg !!! Mission accomplished

Spartan ,,,, if you say looool that means loooool ,, I am not gonna argue with you ,,,, they used to say that u can win an argument with a Palestinian ,, but I think things have changed recently !!! Ya3nee I’d rather argue with that Jew than arguing with you ,,,,,,

This is Hield001 ,,, signing off for the night !!!!

Just my opinion, but I’m a British expat and I’ve been here a few years.
I accept Kuwait for what it is. It’s a small country that has lots of money, but needs a little more work. What a lot of people don’t realise is that this country is progressing in so many ways. If any of you read Mark’s piece from National Geographic a few weeks ago, it shows how far Kuwait has come since 1952. (Kuwait was still a British protectorate then). However, some ‘old’ attitudes will take much longer to change.
My top 3 complaints about Kuwait would be:
1. Please don’t tell me that you love your family and that’s the most important thing in your life and then drive at 140 with your kids standing on the passenger seat!
2. Just because someone is from Asia does not mean they are ‘sub-human’. Having a bright blue Kuwaiti passport does not mean you can push people out of the way. You don’t do it when you visit my city (London) so don’t do it here.
3. Can someone turn the temperature down in the summer please!

As for alcohol, it’s here but I wish it wasn’t. Don’t move to a “dry” country and complain that there’s no drink!

Kuwait gets my vote the moment it sets up a decent English FM station where Ms. Linda isn’t the only DJ, agony aunt, Sears spokeswomen, the advertisment voice over and the news reader all rolled into one.
Now is that asking for too much??

Hielda…i dont know whether u were being serious or joking…but ill take it as a joke =)

Cider…ur absolutely right about ur first point…second point..please dont generalize…some idiots who think theyre above all dont represent all of us…and u know that racism and “thinking ur better than everyone else” is clearly evident in ur country as well..right?? and i appreciate ur last statement..amen to that..

pureorama LOL……i am with u 100% on that!!

If Mark would be making money based on the number of comments on each post that he posts here ( except for the giveaways ones 😉 ) , I believe this would be the most earning post… what say Mark ?

Spartan for the sake of your religion, don’t say Kuwait gives, Kuwait feeds..

Spartan and all who blow the same horn: God gives, God feeds, God provide safe heavens (and its desert actually) not you, not Kuwait not the oil and not the rulers

And wait a minute.. Do you think that you give money away or donate them to us with nothing instead ? then what the heck one of us is doing 9 or 10 hours a day ? convalescent ?

How about the civilized country built ? -our efforts n earth’s money- and moving you from tents and clay blocks to enlightening houses? from mounts to cars ? can’t we share a little bit of that WHIIIILE Maintaining your country’s critical services stability, that non of your people is ready to do because of pride or lack of knowledge (and the headache of gaining it) ? (do i have to remind who used to work in Kuwait army before 1990 ?) was Arabs, now US.

You donated for 101 country to build their infrastructure ? hmm well that is so generous, but what about your country’s infrastructure ?

I still can smell shit from Salwa, where the unresolved shit hole issue located in Mishref..(calling experts from outside to solve the mystery of shit)

Another thing i can see you speak English very England.. do you dare to send your children to a government schools anymore ? or your prefer one of those fancy English/American/french schools ? so what in the sake of god the infrastructure you have ? health care ? for free ? huh, dude not anymore, not after 1990, this free health care quality might be good for animals, not for humans, not to mention old rusty dirty abandoned health care centers and kiosks with ignorant doctors.
Do you use government or private insurance ? Health care does not count..not anymore..

Roads ? those regularly paved roads are ones where Kuwaiti lives, how about considering Midan Hawally as it is the case of Qortoba ? would that happen ? nop, so Transportation Does not count.

Cooperatives shopping centers ? same case as above, those where expats live is not the same maintained as where Kuwaiti lives.., if you think the cooperative where do you live is the same one we go to, where its hardly to find a non beaten (literally) vegetables every Friday if it existed, then you are wrong too.., cooperatives does not count.. TSC ? oh may be you should consider doubling my salary or a side talk with Mr. Sultan for that ( am speaking of the people with less salary )..

Weather and public places..Accessible only for 2 or less months a year, with not considering taking an annual leave till summer, that leaves you with partially enjoyable 8 weekends thanks for natural built in divine sauna.. those Yachts are not affordable for me , so thank you again am not interested, with the money of Kuwait, if i was Kuwaiti i would bring Disney here (to my people) rather than sending them outside collecting various diseases .., so nop, public places no good, major rule is the weather.. sea is great for hometowns with no great sea, like mine

Safe ? every place in the world have safe places, how about you go have a nice walk in Jahra at night? alone or with your wife and kids ? not to mention the not yet mature police mean growing recently chewing gum and smoking cigarettes and talking on phone all the time.. with not US Military bases here ( who is paid ) your country is vulnerable, if -Iran this time- attacked and there is not US (previously Saddam), we would be all beating our selves on Ashora..

Those Golden days of Kuwait you are talking about and try to prove the point (which is bite the hand who helped you that you are looking from your angle while we look from the same angel + 180) has passed away. those was in 70’s and 80’s I’ll give you my dad’s number to call him and remind him with them, i didn’t live those golden days so pardon me of whining, + his response might be that Oh, i know your dad, i taught him at school, please say hello to him..that of course is enough to keep you in silence.

Speaking about Canada, Canada and the US has immigrants too, yes there is some kind of racism there, but guess what ? they served for those countries and they got a citizenship ! the US passport the only thing that Kuwaiti government respects (Baba Bush). equal rights, equal services.

A promising country such as Canada which is BTW one of the least affected by the financial crisis, and which is fertilized with resources and UTILIZE it EFFICIENTLY, and HAS the brain power of creative humans, would be better for me, if i have the chance of immigrating there and have no more slavery i would be grateful..and yes, slavery is worse than racism, if Canada has one, Kuwait has BOTH.

so waking up every morning, riding your Carerra, check in at work at 9:45 while you are yawning, then slip to have breakfast in Za’atar wo Zeet and never get back till its 12:40 and then spend another half hour whining and shouting at expats, then go have lunch in Lenôtre, that is your heaven you are talking about that no expats never and will never taste. (some time don’t want to , because its an abuse)

oh, not forget dropped loans.

your last paper: TAX FREE.

ok here is the thing, and am sorry to shock you, Kuwait won’t be TAX FREE anymore.. when the British came here and divided the land and oil wealth share between Kuwaitis, they didn’t consider the exponentially growing population, Kuwaitis where 100,000 maybe in 40’s , now they are around 1 M, and with young guys getting married very early, the multiplier will be more than 10.

so..

More Kuwaitis, More Big Villas where 7 rooms out of 10 are enlightened while there is no one there, + More Expats to Serve Kuwaiti’s facilities the they can’t take care of , loads on Kuwaitis infrastructure.. more money to maintain it (poorly for expats areas), the more Mega (if not Giga ) Watts you need, the more Crude Oil you flame..

*this example is expandable on other aspects too.

The less the countries balance overflow will be, and one day, this overflow will become a shortage, maybe oil has depleted, maybe its not worth it anymore, and what the heck am going to do ? oooh shit, we don’t have nukes reactors (oh we forget to do them and prefer to get new Cadillacs 2045 instead of building them) to power up my laptop and reply to this long endless post.

Damn!

your lucky and its destiny to be born at this place in this decade and hold its passport, but unless you start paying your huge electricity bill and pay taxes, and the government stop wasting money on stupid people with epic fail loans..,for your grand grand grand children at that time the blue passport for them won’t be lucky..

I also wonder if the government cancel the Kafeel System, who is going to compensate those 500’s and 1000’s given to Kuwaitis from business owners just for a signature ? Government ? not to forget Residency traders..

Your Extra Arrogance is of Kuwaiti’s people remarkable characteristics, and a topic discusses each time we deal with other gulf people have the same idea too as ours..that make us start to forget what we used to see, the kind humble generous people,

Spartan: I totally agree that in my country racism is also a problem. Unfortunately, the difference is that in Kuwait it is “generally” tolerated.
A Kuwaiti woman pushing in front of a Filipina girl in the Sultan Centre is not told by anyone – especially the staff – that she is wrong. I told one woman this a few weeks ago and her answer was predictable: “I’m Kuwaiti!”
I informed her that she was also a f–king stupid bitch as well.

there is not such a place in the world where you hear something like: Keefi + his nationality except here..

and what the heck is the point of wearing Sunglasses in the middle of a shaded Mall when its 6 PM ? guys n girls no exceptions,

one thing comes to my mind at that time: would like me to open you a sun box ? so you can make use of your holy Georgio Armani sun glasses ?

Shocker. A subject about a neighboring gulf country being recognized for something good turning into a bitchfest about Kuwait.

Yes! The collective peoples here suck donkey balls, can we move past the issue?

And I guess I need to get out more. All I’ve seen in Bahrain are prostitutes and taxi drivers trying to bum 20KD out of me for a 10 minute cab ride from the airport.
