The last time I heard of PAWS was when John of K’S PATH posted about the cruelty investigation that took place there but now it seems an employee of PAWS has taken over the Facebook page and is calling out for help. The message above (plus a few others) were posted a couple of days back on the PAWS page and since then I’ve been getting a lot of emails asking me to post about it. The chairperson herself has been denying all the claims and has been asking people to visit the shelter to see for themselves. Whatever happens I just hope the sheltered animals come out of this ok. This is really bad if it’s true and something has to be done for the sake of the animals’ welfare.
This is all true. I’ve been there and seen it. I’ve had to deal with the new chairperson and she’s a nasty piece of work!! I don’t understand why she is incharge. She doesn’t even care! Why can’t she just hand over all responsibilities to someone that cares! I truly believe the only reason she’s holding on to it so tightly is becaue she likes throwing around that she’s the chairperson of paws! Makes her feel mportant! When I visited the Animals were sick, starving and in horrible living conditions. They are better off on the streets!! Myself and my family left in tears.
This is unfortunate. It’s ironic that we have a successful humane shelter model like K’S PATH in the country which on more than one occasion foresaw the present plight at PAWS and extended their help and experience, only to be rejected on grounds of humane euthanasia. I really do hope something can be done for the poor animals at PAWS.
Mark, please set up an event where people can volunteer and help clean up PAWS. I’m certain there are people here willing to help. This is beyond cruelty and these animals don’t deserve these conditions. The chair person needs to be removed as soon as possible. She CLEARLY does not care a single bit about these animals. I hate the fact that I’m not in Kuwait right now to help fix this, and honestly if I was, I would do any and everything in my power to take over her position and fix the shit she let manifest.

Just an FYI, it seems as if the facebook page is monitored by random animal lovers and is not controlled by anyone working with PAWS (which is dissapointing, I was excited to see someone from PAWS actually speak up).
