Apps Complaints

Dear Carriage,

Can you please remove the super annoying video that plays every time I launch your app? Your app now shuts off my music and podcasts whenever I open it, and the fact that I have to wait 6+ seconds for the video to finish before the app starts loading is even more annoying.

Thank you!

Update: Carriage just informed me they’ll be removing the video next week!

Dear Carriage,

Can you treat your drivers like humans instead of making them wait in the sun near Elevation and other restaurants?

Thank you!

On my new iPhone Xs it takes 15 seconds for the video to complete and the app to load. They should want customers to get into the app ASAP, not to wait for a video with no purpose to finish playing.

Hopefully they’re not planning on replacing this video with an ad from restaurants or something.

Wrote them on twitter a few times, they don’t seem interested in replying. It’s the most annoying thing ever, like ok if you’re so in love with it, keep it but provide a button to skip the intro.

Their app is garbage:

1. No sorting by alphabetical or any useful sorting other than cuisine.

2. The list order is seemingly random and changes every time, and constantly refreshes while you’re using the app.

3. The map tracking freezes regularly.

4. No reviews or ratings.

Oh and CAN U PLEASE add filter for restaurants that offer FREE delivery and the ability to BLOCK shit restaurants on the list, i don’t want to see shit restaurants every time i want to order, i will NEVER order from certain kind of restaurants, i should be able to disable certain restaurants from showing up ever again.

THANK U,

AGRE, find ways to make the app faster! plz have a “MY FAVORITES”: section so I don’t always have to search for the same restaurant over and over again, or force us to see all the new restaurants.

Seriously the time it takes to order is taking longer and longer from all the available choices, sometimes less = more.

Mark, can you try to get in touch with them and see if they’re actually planning on implementing all the points mentioned above? (which are all valid and would only make their app better)

Thats two changes done in two subsequent posts.

Where is the person who was complaining about food eating and playstation posts saying you are part of the bigger problem.

I know this is not a social injustice issue, but damn it! can we acknowledge the power this blog has.

Well done.

WHile you’re at it, can you ask them to stop posting annoying and childish push-notification ads?

Especially those with memes and stuff, they’re childish!

Apparently they listen to you…

But then you don’t know if the driver is on the way, unless you obsessively check the order status yourself anyway 😀

While you’re at it, make sure they honor their delivery times and for them to train their drivers to actually arrive to the location then say arrived to location not prematurely click on it. Don’t think I’ve had one order arrive on time
