Kuwait Labor Law App

Kuwait Labor Law is a new app available on Android and iOS devices. The app provides you with a quick reference to the Kuwait labor law, Kuwait traffic violations with all the penalties listed as well as all the requirements and the latest changes to the driving license requirements.

Although the information is readily available for free online the app creators believe that their $3.99 asking price is still worth it. I had a conversation with the creators by email and they managed to convince me that ponying up around KD1 for the app could be worth it. Their app allows you to add certain articles to your favorites tab, the ability to type in a word or phrase and search the entire listing and most importantly, if there is a change in any of the laws you will be notified by the app immediately.

The government should implement this for free and not let these individuals generate revenue out of supposed to be a “Public Service”. MOSAL & MOI must implement such app.

Rely on the the private sector, and it costs you 1kd.

Rely on the government, and it will likly couse you more trouble.

In the US the tax business is huge and privatized. Most people pay private companies and accountants to determine how much to pay the government. The code is purposefully obtuse, they could easily simplify it but someone along the line decided that would result in a lot of lost jobs for the tax industry.

At this point I think governments around the world rely on citizens to do their jobs so they can say they’re creating employment

But yeah I don’t think what amounts to a link to a website that is freely available is worth $4. I guess the change tracking thing could be useful if it really is being monitored, but the free website is really well done.
