what control? the guy was turning in circles before losing control and flipping over.
But if it was a stuck gas pedal, why didn’t he just shift the car intro neutral or turn it off?

Seems many guys driving today don’t even know they can put the car into neutral hold break and turn off. I think some models don’t even allow you do that while in cruise mode.
Cruise mode gets reset once you hit the breaks or change gear
Both stories are wrong. What I heard was that there was a Mewtwo in the middle of the road and he was trying to catch it.

Vehicle malfunctioned
The Interior Ministry’s Relations and Security Information Department issued a statement clarifying an issue pertaining with video footage that appeared on social media, and in which a person is heard claiming that a driver was driving recklessly. It said that the vehicle that appeared in the video was actually malfunctioned, and the driver lost control over it. The statement said that a call was received about a car being driven recklessly, so a patrol was sent there. Police asked the driver to stop, but he could not. The pickup truck finally came to a halt after hitting a lamppost and flipping. He was not injured.

Some vehicles models can’t turn to N while driving. Even can’t be switched off. Anyways, it is always easier to throw judgments when you are watching behind the phone/PC screen.
You’re mixing up judging and theorizing. No one is judging the person but we are theorizing the cause of the accident.
The guy is correct with the neutral thing. I even remember an Emarati woman going through the same thing and not having any control over her car.
I talked to my friend who took that video, he told me its Cruise Control issue, you know the button for setting at certain speed automatically driving used for long long distance and not pressing gas pedal.
Why was he using cruise control in a residential street?

I saw a police car drive like that on the 4th ring road near the Maghrib exit today. Apparently he wanted to block the road so he drove back and forth but people kept moving forward when he was on the other side. He then started driving exactly like this guy going in circles and I was like it’s either a drunk cop or someone having fun in a stolen police car.
But 2 minutes later he just drove off which suggests there was a royal convoy passing through. I still don’t understand why he didn’t use his sirens/mic to get peoples attention though.
