KMT Open Track is Back

Yesterday Kuwait Motor Town opened up registration for three open track day events set for March 23, April 19 and April 26. The March 23rd date sold out in around 40 minutes while the April 19th date sold out soon after. Right now there are still slots available for the April 26th date, so if you’re interested in participating with your car, you need to book asap. Here is the [Link]

I had three questions:

(1) I believe they require a racing helmet (it appears they also rent them). But where can I buy them from if I want to bring my own helmet?

(2) They mentioned that they sell fuel for 0.185 a liter. But do you know what grade of fuel is it?

(3) They mentioned that you can bring another driver with you for an extra fee. But I wasn’t able to add a second driver when checking out. So is this done on-site at the day of event? And do you know what’s the feed for an additional driver?

I ordered my helmet online but TriStar has Arai and other motorbike dealers have other brands as well.

Interesting about the fuel, I hadn’t read that.

Email them about the extra driver, but most likely yeah on the day of the event they can pay on site.

1- you can buy your own helmet at KTM (shuwaikh next ALtelal) or any author motorbike stores.

2- last time I bought my own fuel ( as I know there are no fuel station in KMT), better to bring your own.

3- I guess you can pay at KMT counter at the same day.

Seems they’re setting up refueling at the end of the pits. Taken from the terms & conditions:

9. Fuel is supplied onsite at a cost of 0.185 per litre, cash or card payments accepted. Fueling area is based at the end of the pit garages. There are also fuel stations along the highway. If you bring your own fuel cans these must be kept in the garage or in the paddock area. No fueling cars in the pitlane.
