If you had a family struggling financially, can’t afford college and live off of minimum wage and I drive past you in a Ferrari and you have the urge to egg me, I wouldn’t blame you.
That Ferrari can drive some 300 kmph or can drive a 30 kmph on the streets of London like a nice BMW or Toyota. It could also be sold to send a person to college and change the life of a family.
Why isn’t luxury taxed?

The Queen gives the UK more money indirectly through tourism than they receive from the government in rent for their land. CGP grey has a great video on that. And even then, they are modest about it. My problem with us Arabs is that some of us got rich so suddenly and are so desperate to show it that we raise disgust and form the ‘filthy rich Arab’ stereotype. Plus it was nice to see the façade of extreme self confidence down with an egg.

I didn’t mention Kuwaitis in specific. In my opinion, overall, Arabs are either very rich or low class. Limited Middle class only exists in gulf cities. It’s how the high class behaves that insigates contempt within me and others. I don’t condone egging high class but I do sympathize with envious people who watch the rich get away with untaxed luxury, wastedful bbehaviour and unnecessary environmental damage.
Say all you want but I am positive you cannot deny that we are undereducated and the wealthy do not deserve their wealth in 90% of the cases. We are not cultured the way Europeans are. Human development indices and statistics show you that and more. That is why they sell us their cars and electronics and the simple light bulb.
Our wealth could be better spent elsewhere. Ferraris don’t make your colleges graduate nobel laureates.

I never see single accident without car driven by Kuwaiti and trust me I have seen too many accidents in last 3 years I’m in Kuwait (I’m driving around 100 km everyday on busy highways).
But… Maybe this statistic is correct if it’s from Traffic Dep. because if expat makes accident they always calling to police and registering case, but Kuwaitis never call to police and case isn’t registered if police don’t pass by accidentally. Also this “caused by foreigners” is mostly BS, because if Kuwaiti and expat involved in accident, it’s always expats fault according to Kuwaiti police. My friend get hit from BACK by Kuwaiti on 5th ring road during huge traffic jam when all cars were moving 5-10 km/h and it was my friend fault according to police. In every freaking country if you hit someone from back it’s your fault because you don’t keep braking distance between and and car front of you but in Kuwait wasta is higher then low.

Since it’s clear many of the residents of London are tired of the GCC vacationers and their loud cars, why doesn’t the government take action to prevent them from visiting? Reject their visas? Refuse the temporary import of vehicles? Or is their money just too desirable to pass on?

I believe ppl here are over reacting to this video for two reasons:
1- If you notice there are two Kuwaiti cars, and the first one was making this whole noise from the engine (probably to win the attention of the Kuwaiti girl, who also responded by the same)and this is what London is suffering these days, a lot of noise from sports cars engines (Arab tourists).
2- Any person who causes any disturbance or noise in a neighbourhood will have the same fate whether he/she is Arab, Kuwaiti or British (but Brits avoid making noise in internal streets because they know what is waiting for them)
3- those who threw the eggs did not act deliberately, the communities inside the cities took the decision to throw eggs, tomatoes and garbage on any tourist causing such kinds of noise in peaceful and calm areas.
1. The 458 did not make any noise. If you can’t differentiate between the sound of a 458, GTR and KTM Xbow then you shouldn’t be accusing people and should just STFU.
2. I don’t see any disturbance. Just a car driving on the street like it should be doing.

I understand the inconvenience of careless drivers, but the super cars have very loud engines you can’t exactly turn them down, regardless of what speed you’re traveling. No matter what, we will always live to our means, take a child from a third world country for example, are you showing off your wealth in front of them because you can afford shoes and clean, running water? In some society’s it’s just the lifestyle, get the hell over it.
I am Kuwaiti, but my mother is English so I’d like to think I have a broader perspective as I can see it from both sides.
The fact is, this took place on Sloane street, not exactly comparable to the Ghetto. She wasn’t exactly revving up her engine either ?! So it’s purely provoked by envy, and possibly a racist attack but we’ll never know. I’ve never heard of any white drivers receiving such hate, but there we go.
I personally hope attacks rise and they get a taste of their own medicine – treating foreigners like shit. Then crying about it by posting on here via their jewel-encrusted smart phones which they are glued to 24/7. By the way, since there ARE no Englishmen left in this part of London you’ll probably find that, after all, the egg thrower is an immature Gulf Arab.

I never see single accident without car driven by Kuwaiti and trust me I have seen too many accidents in last 3 years I’m in Kuwait (I’m driving around 100 km everyday on busy highways).
But… Maybe this statistic is correct if it’s from Traffic Dep. because if expat makes accident they always calling to police and registering case, but Kuwaitis never call to police and case isn’t registered if police don’t pass by accidentally. Also this “caused by foreigners” is mostly BS, because if Kuwaiti and expat involved in accident, it’s always expats fault according to Kuwaiti police. My friend get hit from BACK by Kuwaiti on 5th ring road during huge traffic jam when all cars were moving 5-10 km/h and it was my friend fault according to police. I believe ppl here are over reacting to this video for two reasons:
1- If you notice there are two Kuwaiti cars, and the first one was making this whole noise from the engine (probably to win the attention of the Kuwaiti girl, who also responded by the same)and this is what London is suffering these days, a lot of noise from sports cars engines (Arab tourists).
2- Any person who causes any disturbance or noise in a neighbourhood will have the same fate whether he/she is Arab, Kuwaiti or British (but Brits avoid making noise in internal streets because they know what is waiting for them)
3- those who threw the eggs did not act deliberately, the communities inside the cities took the decision to throw eggs, tomatoes and garbage on any tourist causing such kinds of noise in peaceful and calm areas.

I have something to say about this, now the British people are jealous on the regards some Arabs or people have more money and tend to FLAUNT and show off with it, but also the Arabs who are rich should not show off and do this, especially bringing their cars all the way to london and except no EVIL FLAUNTING THEIR WAYS. Its haram to spend too much and waste money and especially being a NARCISSIST and showing off. to be honest, if you see people turning up their motors in high volume and causing a riot and not respecting the country then this is a problem. Though the kuwaiti lady didnt do anything, but she HAD IT COMING! This is not her country, so there is a RISK this would happen.

I know it’s pretty late to jump on the bandwagon but might I add, celebrities are adored driving their flashy yellow Lamborghini’s, wearing the finest clothes and living in the wealthiest areas… Do you see them getting egged? Half of them are ripping you off by making millions from repetitive, annoying talent-lacking songs. Sure you get the odd incident where a ‘hater’ will attack a celebrity but for the most part they are ‘worshiped’ for having everything ‘normal’ people desire out of life. What’s that? Wealth, spending money on unimportant luxuries, and who really cares? Is Harrods showing off for selling the likes of Chanel and Louis Vuitton? Do you want to walk into Harrods and egg all the customers there? Because they’re “showing off”
The majority of affluent Arabs didn’t just suddenly stumble upon their riches, they made them through decent careers whether they be lawyers, diplomats or born into royalty. This girl didn’t appear do anything to deserve such abusive treatment, and of course I’m going to empathize with her because there’s literally nothing to back up such behavior, it’s disgusting. You want the Arabs to ‘GTFO’ of the UK? We’d gladly take our oil with us, then lets see the British economy collapse. I understand the inconvenience of careless drivers, but the super cars have very loud engines you can’t exactly turn them down, regardless of what speed you’re traveling. No matter what, we will always live to our means, take a child from a third world country for example, are you showing off your wealth in front of them because you can afford shoes and clean, running water? In some society’s it’s just the lifestyle, get the hell over it.
I am Kuwaiti, but my mother is English so I’d like to think I have a broader perspective as I can see it from both sides.
The fact is, this took place on Sloane street, not exactly comparable to the Ghetto. She wasn’t exactly revving up her engine either ?! So it’s purely provoked by envy, and possibly a racist attack but we’ll never know. I’ve never heard of any white drivers receiving such hate, but there we go.
I personally hope attacks rise and they get a taste of their own medicine – treating foreigners like shit. Then crying about it by posting on here via their jewel-encrusted smart phones which they are glued to 24/7. By the way, since there ARE no Englishmen left in this part of London you’ll probably find that, after all, the egg thrower is an immature Gulf Arab.
Such ppl are allowed in by politicians who don’t care about the indeginous population. They care about their rich supporters making money so you get visas. Know, though, that you are mocked by real people for your crass showing off and wasteful ways. We are not jealous.
