New Jeep Wranglers are Now in Kuwait

Post by Mark

The all-new Jeep Wranglers are finally in Kuwait. Although the outside looks pretty similar to the previous model, it’s actually been completely reworked and the interior given a major overhaul.

The local Jeep dealer just got the new Wranglers over the weekend and they should end up being in the showroom anytime today or tomorrow. They’ve only brought the 4-door Wranglers for now but in three different trims that include the Sport, Sahara and the Rubicon edition (pictured here). Sadly, the Sahara and Rubicon models they’ve brought come with a beige leather interior (puke) and only the sport model comes with a black interior. I’m pretty sure you could probably order a Rubicon with a black interior, but right now if you want one, you don’t have another choice.

The prices of the new Wranglers start at KD12,500 for the Sport edition and go all the way up to KD16,000 for the Rubicon. I’ve had my Toyota FJ for 8 years now and although I love it, the new Rubicon is really really tempting.

12.5k starting for a wrangler? I had a wrangler and would have never bought it at that price

With that price I prefer to buy Ford Truck or wait for the new Chevy and Ram trucks. I used to drive FJ the benefit is the A/C is top notch especially in our summer and the size is perfect for a solo(friend rides on occasions) driver without family. Other than that the FJ is not by any mean comfy or smooth at all. with the new wrangler I am more interested if they update or install a new engine in them. For me the wrangler week point is in it power especially the 4-Door.

hahahaha, I used to not think the FJ was smooth or comfy at all especially since I had installed a stiffer suspension, but then I got my Lotus Cup car. Now my FJ feels sooooooo smooooth, plush, quiet and comfy, I can’t even remember why i thought it was too harsh of a ride.

After a lot of pleading from my friends, I took my brother’s FJ out for a spin. We were supposed to make a night out of it, but I barely made it down the road (where I promptly made a U-turn and parked the beast back at home) and went out in my own cute lil car. Honestly, the FJ was so wide, I felt like I was driving… I dunno… the Starship Enterprise. Never again.

I spotted someone on the road recently with a decal on the back of their Wrangler saying “Yours may be fast but mine go anywhere”, and I’ve kinda’ had Wranglers on the mind ever since. The new one looks pretty cool too!

Is there meant to be a link where it says (pictured here)?

Ah, ok. I’ve been clicking it all day lol

Yours may be fast but mine can go anywhere*

Isn’t the Al Mulla garage notoriously bad though? My brother had endless complaints about his vehicle’s service times and price discrepancies, among other things.

Back when I had a wrangler I used to love them when they were just Behbehani. Oil change would take 20 mins tops in a Jeep dedicated garage. Then they merged with Mulla and the garage started services Dodge cars and a quick oil change started taking 2+ hours.

How reliable are Wrangler’s engine/AC in Q8 weather?

    • jj says:

Ive had a wrangler for 5 years and never had an issue with either. The AC is great and engine always worked fine. The only issue is there is no AC in the back but maybe they changed that by now.

Thats a very nice looking CAR! Not the most comfortable of rides, but you dont think comfort when you consider a Wrangler.
I was honestly close to getting the Ford Raptor, until I saw the new Rubicon.

Any idea about their after sales services? Spare part expenses, tires etc?
