Someone recently spotted a Porsche 918 Spyder from Kuwait in London and recorded a video of it. Not sure what hotel is in the video but based on all the Kuwaiti cars parked there you’d think it was a hotel in Kuwait. The Spyder starts at KD265,000 but the one in the video is a modified Oakley Design model and might possibly be the first and only Spyder in Kuwait at the moment. [YouTube]

The first Porsche has different type of plates in the front and back? I didn’t know you could do that.
They probably printed the front on on London because you’re required there to have front plates. They most likely remove it once they get back to Kuwait.
is there no better place to put the front number plate.
Sadly most super cars don’t have room for a front plate. You would think it’s something they would think about when designing the cars.

to be at the Mar riot on Edgware Road; a perennial favourite with Kuwait is.

They could have picked the fancier Dorchester or the Claridges in London. Flash back to 2001 when they had booked 60 rooms at the Dorchester in London.
There are 2 in Kuwait, the other one is red with visual package ( Carbon bits).

Actually, the first 918 Spyder in Kuwait arrived a few months ago. It was red and the owner apparently didn’t want it after he ordered it so it was left at the Porsche showroom. I have some pictures if you are intrested.
