Its the initiative to keep people in business ..
Without those who would buy the windshields and side glass from the shops all around the country ?
How would the paintshop guys get money if not from repairing your car?
How about the car rent shops if you need to get a car since yours is being repaired? Yes they need to stay in business.
How about the brilliant minds who think of those plans ? If they put something perfect they’d be out of a job, they won’t be needed any more. Now we wouldn’t want that do we?
On a serious note, the defect isn’t putting the stones, its the maintenance needed. We’ll gladly pay a million for stones but won’t pay KD10 for maintenance.

Why dont they just put cement first & then the stones??? the stones will be engraved in cement & wont come out.. atleast not they it is in the pic.
Why don’t they cast the whole thing out of Concrete, and then paint it Green + White . Or let the Kuwait Graffiti Scene, have a go, with donated paint can’s.
I personally think the faux grass and stones look very nice – I don’t know where this is specifically, but it is such a shame that there are people who don’t give a darn about the world around them…it is not about maintenance because around my place, we haven’t had this happen….this is about a lack of respect and people either doing it deliberately or doing stupid things (like driving ATVS or vehicles on the stones) causing the stones to fly out of place. How sad…
Like everything else in Kuwait, looks nice when new and then nobody cares and soon looks like shit.
I swear I knew its gonna happen,, I am a biker and I get so afraid of these stones ,, how about of one idiot lost control and hit those rocks ,, they gonna spread all over the cars windshields and all over on our faces ,, and such a mess gonna leave with a lot of injuries
I mentioned that some time ago along with the danger of that Green Carpet ! I hope that nobody get’s an accident and burning car on that Carpet with Cannon Ball’s all over
I just noticed in the past few days, that the stones on Damascus street were being concreted in place – so I guess they are trying to get it to stay nice and save as well.
