A couple of years ago I ordered a NOCO battery booster off Amazon after reading a lot of great things about it. Since then I’ve kept it in the trunk of my FJ in case my battery after dies and I need to boost it. I haven’t had to do that yet but I have used my battery booster a number of times to help other people start up their cars and you can read my review on it here. I’ve been wanting to order another one to keep in the trunk of my Lotus but I didn’t want to go through the hassle of ordering one online again.
But, now there is a place in Kuwait called Garage Shuwaikh that started selling NOCO products and I got mine yesterday (another GB40) for basically the same price as Amazon. It’s actually cheaper than what I paid since the booster I got costs KD30 on Amazon without tax and shipping, while here in Kuwait it’s selling for KD32 including delivery. If you’re interested in getting a battery booster (every car should have one) they have special launch prices right now which is why they’re so well priced. Here is a list of products they have with the ordering number below:

Sorry for being ignorant, but what is the difference between the charger and the booster?
Most people park their cars or motorbikes for long periods without using them which ends up draining the battery. So to solve that issue you connect the car battery to a charger that will keep the battery fully charged for you when not in use.
A booster, on the other hand, is used to jump-start a car with a dead battery. You know how when a car battery dies you usually connect two cables to your dead car battery and the other end to another car? With a lithium booster you don’t need another car, you just connect the battery to your dead battery and then start your car.
Thanks!
A super capacitor pack is much better. It never needs to be charged and doesn’t depreciate. Even your battery is dead, it uses whatever energy is there to charge itself then boost the battery
one of my friends got the HD pack like a year ago. Very awesome and miles better than Anker ones. i like the accecory that make it like a car lighter slot and how there is a computer inside which acts like idiot proof and many more specs.glad they are sold here instead of those cheap Chinese that hold only 1 charge
Mark do you think the GB20 Sport 400A is enough to startup my Pajero’s battery.? or I need the bigger one like the GB40 Plus 1000A?
Hmmm no idea, I’ve only ever used the GB40 so don’t have any experience with the smaller GB20
GB20 Sport 400A is supposed to be good for vehicles up to 4L engine capacity. Whereas the GB40 Plus 1000A are good for up to 6L engine capacity
Awesome, I might just pass by and pick one for myself later this week. @Mark, unrelated to this thread, I’ve noticed you still have your FJ Cruiser and I’ve been thinking of getting one after doing some research on it. What would your thoughts be on getting a 5-7 year old used FJ Cruiser? My only worry about these ones (apart from having a damaged chassis/issues with gearbox) is rusting of the main frame leading to breakage and holes forcing american consumers to either get another car or a replacement frame worth over 4000 dollars. A contributing factor to this may be due to the salt they used on roads during winter time in areas where it snows accelerating the rusting process. But since we’re in Kuwait, I am just curious to know if rusting is as big of a problem as it is in the US.
Hey, Kuwait is a dry climate so cars don’t tend to rust here. I’ve had mine for 10 years, no rust.
Rust is a non issue 99% of the time. Chassis damage due to accidents, rough offroading, etc is far more likely here.
But that’s the same issue everywhere which is why you always get the car checked for damage before purchase
Would you guys recommend the golden sands place or should I get the car inspected by the dealership straight away? Any ideas about the prices also?
Golden Sands are the best, not sure if dealer does these checks
Please share their location (Golden Sands)

I have tried to call the number for past few days Always switched off. Any alternate number number?
They’ve had battery chargers for quite some time now. I got mine from them in 2014 for our boat. They never disappoint
Sorry, my comment was regarding the Jump starter, not car inspection.
I sent a WhatsApp to the shop days ago asking which model would be good for my SUV’s. They never got back to me. Great service, ignore a potential customer.
Please call this number 99605057 because the number you might have is wrong. Ready to provide the best service
I apologize. I had the number wrong by 1 digit. Once I messaged the correct number, the response was immediate and delivery was prompt. Thank you!
I too am guilty of misreading the number.
