Volkswagen XL1 in Kuwait

A friend sent me the video above of a Volkswagen XL1 at the local dealers garage. The XL1 is a hybrid car that costs around KD40,000 and is limited to only 250 units worldwide.

xl1

Definitely an eye turner since it looks like a car from the future. [YouTube]

Thanks Manae

27hp lol that car is useless in Kuwait!
The xl1 sport is the most desirable concept car I have ever seen though, it’s based on this.

Looks awesome on the front, but horrifically ugly on the back. Also this thing doesn’t have a rear window, or rear view mirror, or even side mirrors. I know there are probably a ton of cameras to take their place, but how is it approved by Traffic Dept.

Also how are you supposed to charge this thing? Or will they build a charging station at your house?

You forgot to list the most incredible thing about the car! It gets over 300 mpg and is therefore one of the most fuel efficient vehicles in the world. I do find it ironic that they’ve brought it to Kuwait.

It seems the designer was inspired by the future concept cars of the last century, also known as school of “Who the fuck thought of this shit”
