For their new HD TV commercial, Toshiba attached some of their HD cameras to a weather balloon along with an arm chair and sent it up to space. Looks pretty peaceful up there. [YouTube]

i’ve been seeing this advert almost every day here… i’ve always wondered whether its real or not. i still cant believe its real!

Perfect add … specialy the noise .. gives you the space feelings .. ( which i never tryed lool ) however .. i only have one question…. how the hell did they got the tape after the camera recorded !!!! … NOT REAL

What did they get the footage after it was lost in space?
Was it broadcasted live from earth? Doesn’t sound so convincing…
guys watch the video till the end. it falls back to earth. weather balloons come back down.
I stopped watching after the first time after toshiba logo. Just saw the complete ending. What made the chair explode? Heat? Impact with what? Anyways, the more I watch this trailer the more I like it. It’s really really creative and the accompanying background noise is perfect. This commercial is actually pleasant (very very rare).
