I spotted the kiosk above yesterday while visiting the ASCC museums. The place hasn’t been open for a month yet and already they’re starting to make it look tacky. There are so many visually nicer ways to have a kiosk rather than just shoving a few tables between a wall and a pillar. No idea why they would do this…

Me and my colleagues were there yesterday and had exactly the same thought. It is a beautiful space. Why destroy it for a measly sum? Wonder who owns the kiosk and how they got permits for it in the first place and who authorized it. follow the money to see who does these cheap things.
I expect qout style food festivals soon.
On another note, some of the miniature dinosaurs models are already broken. A LOT of things are already under maintenance or unresponsive in the museums.

what a lousy and tacky place to have the cart! why would they even have carts it reduces the elegance of the place!!

It’s an eyesore for sure, but it looks like a temporary arrangement, or at least I hope so. One would think they will soon have proper cafes and restaurants around the premises just like JACC.

Mark you are so right. I mean they’ve done a great job in delivering such a beautiful center, but someone decided too add their “touch” .. The quality of product supplied by those guys is very bad aswell .

ANOTHER STUPID PLACE TO COME IN KUWAIT!!!!
Yes I finally manage to go there this afternoon, First about the entrance, Yes I was walking because it seems close from my apartment in Baghdad street. I thought you can get in from the roundabout there at Baghdad street but then no you need to walk to the other side and I was like damnnn… Secondly When I already paid my tix I started clicking some pics with my pocket camera rx100 near the entrance outside and the security guy yelled at me saying I’m not allowed to take picture with my pocket camera?!! WTF?!!!! I’m so pissed off and go back to the ticket officer… one person saying its okay but only outside the other said no I can’t take any pics with my camera both outside and inside… I’m so angry and ask them to return my money and giving back the tix… I don’t need this shitshows right now… honestly c’mon mannn even louvre abu dhabi last time not that strict about what camera can you bring in… This?!!! DAMMMNNN!!!
