I’ve featured the work of AGi architects on the blog before but most of the projects I featured were beautiful residential homes they had designed. I think this is the first commercial project I’ve seen by them and its as beautifully designed as their other projects.
I haven’t been to this mall myself yet and so have no idea what stores are open there, but I’m planning to pass by just to check out the architecture. The AGi website has more photos and details on this project which you can check out on their website if you’re interested [Here]

There is indeed a City Centre hypermarket in the lower ground floor, which looks absolutely stunning, I have to admit. Xcite is the only store which seems ready to open now but I happened to meet the Leasing manager when I was there, Mrs. Sabeekah Al Bahar, and she confirmed to me that all the anchor stores were fully leased, including Daiso, as well as an exclusive Kids entertainment zone ( Cosmo). i also understood that the smaller shops were undergoing negotiation.

This place isn’t even on Google Maps, and from the pictures, I can see that they have City Centre supermarket in the basement.
The new City Center in Shuwaikh is open in Manara Mall. Xcite seems to be opening soon as well. Mall is deserted otherwise.

It’s near the university so I think they’re counting on students being their main clients
