THE ARENA has announced the dates for the Disney on Ice show and they’ve also started selling tickets. Disney on Ice is going to be held in Kuwait from November 8 to November 12 and tickets start at 20KD and go all the way up to 175KD. Whoever pays 175 KD must really love their Disney. To compare I checked the ticket prices for the show playing in London O2 Arena and the most expensive premium ticket there is £77 (~27.5 KD). The price gouging is unreal.
The majority of the more expensive seats are the gold seats, which cost 35 KD, and the seating for that is similar to the ones in the O2 that cost 27 KD, so price is not very different. The more expensive seats are very limited, so I wouldn’t really call it “price gouging”
The majority of the tickets in O2 arena cost between £27-£37 (~10 KD). The same front row tickets that cost 175 KD in Kuwait cost £55 (~20 KD) KD in O2. The 27 KD seating in O2 is the top end of the premium seats and has lounge seating and in-seat food and drinks service, most tickets there are much cheaper. If that is not price gouging I don’t know what is.
KD175!!!! For that price, Minnie better put out.
The prices are absurd. Bought tickets anyways, since there isn’t much going on in Kuwait ever.
That’s the problem though, these organizers know that people will pay anyway.
