H&M

H&M
H&M does not stand for Her Majesty. It stands for Hennes & Mauritz. I have heard and read numerous people saying it stands for Her Majesty, I don’t know where they got that from. [Link]

Well, H&M stands for Hennes & Mauritz indeed. However, in their Radio Ad Madonna says it stands for “Her Majesty” and jokes “aren’t they sweet?” or something like that. Its just a way to grab attention, but it’s been confusing people..

Its just a way of getting everyone attention. Everyone was going around saying ‘omg it means Her Majesty’ im lik ‘uhh ur an idiot to believe that!’
O well, i guess thats their way of advertising. hopefully they will get it right next time šŸ˜›

Madonna is the brand ambassador fro H&M. in The radio ad has her saying it’s Her Majesty (the store in KWT has ladies and kids wear!)

Madonna is the QUEEN of the world, after all (if you don’t count Elton John). Perhaps she’s getting a bit confused in her old age…

its was a part of t joke…coz madonnas nickname was “Madge”,so her since “Her Majesty” kinda sounds like it,they used their silly brit humour as their thier H&M line…thts my take on it atleast….

H&M is originally from Sweden. Hennes and Mauritz are a husband and wife who started their clothing business there. When I first visited sweden (8-9 years old), my uncle was driving me around, and telling me about sweden and its shops. He started with H&M and was afraid I will forget what H&M stands for, so he gave me a better nickname. H&M = Haj Ma7moud šŸ™‚

Why can’t they get it right? H&M stands 4 Hennes & Mauritz, Hennes & Mauritz, HENNES & MAURITZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
