Bavarian Food

One of my favorite things about Munich was the food. I was eating non stop through out the day since their food is very hard to resist although it would be easy for the majority of you since most of their dishes are pork based. I took pictures of my dishes whenever I could and if you click on continue below you could see some of them. As you can see most are sausages with potato salad. The one above was taken at the Augustiner Beer Garden.

Three kinds of sausages with liver dumpling, potato salad and sauerkraut

Huge variety of salami and sauges which you can have made into a small sandwich

Pork with gravy, pork skin and potato stuffed with a sausage

“Ah, beautiful pork. God made pigs for a reason.”

yeah, to eat it’s own defecates and host larvae.

@ moose

I’m so hungry now 🙁

@faris117

Haha, if you say so mate. Doesn’t stop me eating it. Its great stuff.

LOL @ Faris. You need to read up on the traces of excrement found in beef patties used in fast food chains.

Faris:

My dog eats cat poop, but some cultures eat dog..
As for parasites, all animals we eat have them… especially if not cooked properly.

Pork. The one you love.

Cymraeg, you said it, fast food.

I have nothing against people who eat pork, I just find the pig to be a really disgusting animal.

Uh I don’t know…I always gag whenever I see Bavarian food, and I used to live in that area. And if I see one more bratwurst, I’m going to scream 😀

Sorry but I don’t not see the light….potatoes and sausages in a variety of ways – not too creative if you ask me!

dude that looks horribly disgusting !!!
i seriously dont know how you guys think it looks delicious….

Muslim or not I’ll never eat pork just seeing the stuff it eats T_T And damn it it looks pretty delicious =(

But the 5th/6th picture ruined everything for me ^_^

The steckerlfisch is outstanding. I had it on my first trip to Germany in 2007, to visit my now-husband, at Maidelt in Regensburg. I’ve craved it since, and I was there for Christmas, but couldn’t find it. Is the mackerel at fairs a seasonal offering?
