Cheesecake Factory opening this week

Cheesecake Factory is going to be officially opening this coming Monday. I was there tonight for a tasting and I think the place is way nicer than the Dubai one. The location is really great and the place is open from three sides so the atmosphere should be really great. One thing I loved about Avenues Phase III is the lighting, I hope they keep it this dim and colorful once it opens (check picture above).

Waiting time to be seat aaa…remember P.F Chang? Hopefully I didnt offend cuz I remember reading your comments before and remember thinkin’ your a real firecracker : )

The red velvet cheesecake (the number one selling cheesecake in Dubai) is 2000 calories per slice. I am interested in their workforce, that will make or break the place – the chef will be key.

I can’t wait to visit the new phase as well, but you won’t want to park on one end and walk to the otherside! Wish they could of built the mall vertically like City Center Mall Bahrain!

Longhorn…I think that goes against zoning laws. Theres vertical limits in that area…umm to tie up all these comments a 1250 – 2000 calorie cheesecake can be walked off or atleast offset if you do park at the first phase part of the Avenues : )

To burn 1250 calories, you would need to walk for about 4 hours (you generally burn about 300 calories per hour of walking).
So parking in Marina mall, and walking to Avenues would be more appropriate.

Cajie…note I said ‘atleast offset’…that 1250 could be out of ones 2400 average adult male calorie allowance for the day. : ) Best to have it for breakfast : )

I agree Mark, the lighting design of this phase is by far the most interesting!
After much research, found out that the main supplier is actually in Kuwait – a company called Al-Dhow Engineering..

Went there last night for the friends and family soft opening. The servings are massive and the food was delicious. We had Gumbo, BBQ beef sandwich, Asian Salad and Salisbury steak. Noticed there was a red lobster and an olive garden too. Fuck yeah

WHAT THE SHIT?!! OLIVE GARDEN like the Chilis of Italian food…and Red lobster the higher priced Shrimpys of America…: P

THANK YOU GOD FOR ALLOWING US TO LIVE IN THIS FRANCHISE OASIS : ) Now all we need are clubs…pubs…and a more liberal visa policy for countries with hot easy chicas and we r dun dun and dun : P : )
