there is also an increase of “No-see-ums” these days..outside at the gardens , beach etc and they give you a nasty bite!
There’s on in my bathroom . Can hear but not see. More than anything the noise is annoying. It bites?

Reminds me of the plague of crickets that befell Egypt in biblical times but just changed to Kuwait.
Locust hordes are a regular occurrence in many parts of the world, that’s how locusts became a common part of many cuisines.

these buggers r creating a nightmare for parents.. my older one had a terrible fright when one of these things fell on his head. while my younger one decided to taste the smashed bugger on the lawn.
Waiting for these bugs to go away soon so that a trip to the park becomes worth.
