Everything that is closed in Kuwait Airways Terminal 4 (August 2024)

So many places have closed down in T4, in fact, once you pass security the only places with food still left open are Raising Cane’s, Shake Shack, Starbucks, McDonalds and Al Rifai nuts. So if you’re boycotting brands, your only option for food and coffee is basically Al Rifai.

The last photo was where Cafe Coco used to be and that was closed since 2020 I think. Also, I can’t believe they closed the small bookstore! 😱

No, I am talking about mcdonalds restaurant upstairs. I am 100% sure. Check your facebook comments. Two more people mentioned the same.

As I mentioned, it was closed in August 1st. Even raising cane cashiers were complaining about the crowded and they said since mcdonalds is closed, cane and shack are very crowded. They opened it back after August 1st probably.

I was honestly looking for the McDonald’s and didn’t see it when I was there a couple weeks ago. Just wondering near which gate so I can know for next time.

So sad. And this was the only relatively decent way to travel in and out of the country.

Anyone knows why is this happening?

Keep boycotting. They are feeling it in their wallets. Its the right thing to do. If you need to eat bring your own food.

Hopefully they replace all these shops with local brands, there are better restaurants/cafes coming out of Kuwait than any of these trashy franchises anyways.

Cleaner and healthier ingredients too

Seriously! been waiting so long for Popeyes to reopen….have been missing their tasty chicken especially the crispy fries and mash potatoes with gravy

Any insights on why they closed? Losing money? Extortionate rents? It was always a bizarre mix of badly placed brands anyway.

I think they closed down because the overheads were not making sense. No business/profit to keep them interested in paying to be there. No other reason why Foodservice outlets would leave an AIRPORT location. its the most sought after real estate in the world

In a sense this can be a good thing too. They can turn all this space into seating area for enhanced passenger comfort.
