I passed by Gray’s Papaya to try out their hot dog. It was recommended by a friend as a great place for hot dogs. No offense to hot dog lovers but compared to burgers I don’t think it’s too difficult to get a good hot dog.
For $4.45 you get two hot dogs and a drink. I don’t like toppings on my hot dogs just ketchup and mustard which is the way I had my hot dogs. The hot dogs were good but I wouldn’t call them the best hot dogs ever since they tasted like regular hot dogs. It was a cool place though and great as a quick snack when passing by.

Sorry, but nothing beats Papaya King.
You should include the locations of the restaurants you are trying out, Mark.
how about visiting rockafilla center and maybe get sone pictures with SNL crew .
I disagree with the fact that most hot dogs taste the same!! One of the best hot dogs I had was when we were (much) younger at the Sky Dome! The bread, the hot dog itself… it was all different.
Can’t find a place to eat a good hot dog at in Kuwait.
BTW… are you gaining all the weight you lost?
The best hot dog I ever had was the one made by Fuddruckers during its golden era (1995-1997)
The second best is the chili dog from Hardeez.
I stopped eating fast food years ago so I don’t know whether the hardeez dog tastes the same as it did years ago.
PS. let the Man enjoy enjoy his food for gods sake! It’s not everyday that you go to NYC!

NYC hotdogs are not the same without the relish and the sauerkraut!!
honest!
if you’re not into the sauerkraut then try it just with the relish, its amazing…
i miss NYC π
oh ok so this place does exist! Jlo keeps eating hotdogs with something like chili on them from this place in the movie The backup plan eating from this place… one of the movies banned my MOI in q8 for god knows why…
“hot dog” was stated in this post 10 times!!! “
I watched Jennifer Lopez’ movie “The BackUp Plan” and this fast food was featured on that movie, it was JLo’s favorite since the scene was in New York. I remember how I fancied the hotdogs at the trainstations in Berlin Gemany, they put a special sauce with different flavors like curry and other stuff…kinda different for me since i am used to ketchup, mayo, or mustard with my hotdogs…but it was good though and will try it again if ever had the chance to visit the place.xoxox
This is not halal food my friend what is your reason to put hells fire in your inside
That’s the coolest thing anyone has ever commented here!

coooool! Never knew that restaurants in movies can actually turn out to be true! Hope you’re having fun in NYC. Ask the people at that restaurant what they had to do to get into the movie “The Backup Plan”..
Just ketchup and mustard, no relish? Epic fail.
