ICEE Frozen Drinks at Trolley

Around a month ago, Trolley launched ICEE drinks in its convenience stores across Kuwait. If you’ve never had ICEE before they’re frozen carbonated drinks that come in fruit or soda flavors. At first, Trolley launched ICEE with only fruit flavors which I’m not a fan of, but this past weekend they started rolling out the cola flavor across their stores so I decided to pass by and try it out.

I ended up going to the Trolley location in Mansouriya which is the largest one in Kuwait. I think the gas station it’s located in is also the largest in Kuwait and looked brand new as well.

In the States they have Pepsi and Coke flavored ICEE which is what I was hoping to find but Trolley right now has the generic ICEE Cola flavor instead. Doesn’t taste quite as good as Pepsi or Coke but is good enough if you’re looking for a drink to quickly cool you down.

ICEE comes in three sizes:
Small – 750fils
Medium – KD1
Large – KD1.250

I’m not sure if all the Trolley’s have ICEE machines or the cola flavor, but if you want more info you can always check the Trolley page on instagram @trolley_kw

Trolley has signed a contract to get ICEE machines across all Trolley’s through a distributor for the whole GCC.

Well icee been doing it since the 60s and we had slush puppies here from back in the 80s… but this post isn’t about who did it first just that it’s now available locally

I suggest that you fix your attitude when someone, in this case, experiencing something new. Instead of the entire “hate to burst everyone’s bubble” “I remember drinking it back in the 90s LOL” I know that human need to feed his arrogance sometimes but it doesn’t justify the way you -or anyone- gloat over how we just got ICEE locally. Let people enjoy their moment of getting to know new things or instead of stealing their moment.
I wonder how you’d react if someone, god forbid, expressed their delight after watching the Lion King live-action adaptation. Would it be something along the lines of “hate to burst your happy moment, but it was ridiculous how Disney is adapting all their movies into live-actions. Photo-realism with human-like speech? It was a failure in every mean”
