Nothing but yummy goodness that has lasted the test of time. The fact that the décor is still the same after all these years and they still are full of customers stands testament to the fact that their chicken tikka and paratha is the best in Kuwait hands down.
I find their chicken tikka way too spicy for my taste buds and I am Indian! Unless it was one of those days when extra spice fell into the mix!

Dang… and we heard they’ve closed down long ago (like the Ras Salmiya branch) and we haven’t visited them in like 3 years!

No but seriously.. the chicken comes spicy as standard, you just need to tell them to tone it down or tell them to make it non spicy..

Khyber is not Pakistani. Khyber pass may be in Pakistan, but this is an indian restaurant.
Well to some extent i do agree with you Mark, but i found WHITE ROSE in SALMIYA near EIDHI STORE (in front of UPDI Restaurant) better than Khyber. I have eaten from both restaurants number of times, and still me and my wife prefer to go to White Rose. Their Poori and Tikka both are just delicious.
For spiciness, just let them know how do you want. (Normal, Medium or Extra Spicy). If possible, give it a try and then share your review.
White Rose is not half as good as it used to be before 2005.

I use to eat alot at white rose back in 1997 to 2000… the cooks lost their touch or maybe they changed. It isn’t the same anymore…
and yea another thing to consider is … personal taste and opinion. So maybe they are still good to a lot of tongues 🙂

A’s Chicken has by far the best chicken meals in Kuwait.
YESS! They do! We use to go there all the time when i lived in Kuwait. Another good one is “Tourist”, Khyber’s neighbor, it has fantastic food (if it still exists).
Tourist was closed last month and that’s how I ended up at Khyber!

The cooks and the management are all Inidan. We have a lot of distinct cuisines in India, broadly speaking though we have north Indian, south Indian and Chinese Indian, which has nothing to do with the Guandong or Sichuan cuisines.
My dad has been visiting this place since the 70s.
It is the BEST. Nothing beats it. Chicken tikka is second. The rest all suck.
