Back in July I posted that Lulu had launched an online store and the problem I had with it was that the store contained mostly electronics and lacked any food items. Now though that’s fixed, a reader emailed me to let me know that the food and household sections of the website are now online and fully functioning.
Just to see if they had all their products online I tried searching for the Dove Men+Care Antiperspirant, a product I buy and know they carry but I couldn’t find it on their website. So my guess is they’re still adding their products one by one.
Still, by just randomly browsing I can tell they are carrying a ton of stuff and they seem to finally be a better alternative to Taw9eel. Check out the LuLu online store [Here]

The site leaves much to be desired. For me, ordering groceries online means getting heavy stuff difficult to pick up in person like cartons of bottled water or twelve packs of 1 liter milk cartons. Lulu online doesn’t have any of that, just single items you would normally buy from Baqala. Why would anyone in their right mind order a can of Pepsi and a chocolate bar online? With all of their shortcomings, Taw9eel is still the best in Kuwait.
I’m sure if you add 12 bottles of water to your cart they won’t deliver them to you as single individual bottles.
I tried and they do. Ordering 6, 1 liter 12 pack is ordering 72 single portions. Some systems won’t even accept that number. You will get “quantity not available” error message. Whereas if I order it directly from KDD it’s just: “can I have 6 cartons of milk please” and it will be on my doorstep the next day.
They don’t even have basic drinks or any of the imported products they sell in store, this website needs some more work.
Does lulu hypermarket have Nintendo switch ? Its not on their website
