New Restaurant: Baker & Spice

baker

I was at Souk Sharq yesterday and passed by to check out the new restaurant that opened in place of Breadz called Baker & Spice. I didn’t get to try it since I had already had lunch but the place inside looked really good and the outdoor vibe felt very un-Kuwait like. They opened around two weeks back and I’ll most likely be passing by next week to try it out. For now you can check out their instagram account [Here]

Yet another blog post which signifies how much Mark hates Kuwait. If baker and spice is in Kuwait then how is it un-Kuwait like? Kuwait used to stand for the best in the world for its residents and citizens alike and if its not for such comments we can think of Kuwait like this once again.

Howwwwww does this signify that Mark hates Kuwait? You are sooo dumb. It reads “the outdoor vibe felt very un-Kuwait like”, which just means that it is more serene and makes you feel like you’re on vacation. Which isn’t a bad thing.

Grow up.

It’s one of my favorite spot in Dubai for salads and healthy food. I think it’s a UK based franchise owned by AL Kharafi

Mark hates Kuwait because he rather be on a chronic vacation in a un-Kuwait like destination with you free-bird his lover friend who came to his defense with your eloquent English skills(Not! You made a grammatical error). Please don’t reply because im grown up enough to know I have a valid point. Not all of the world and its dark corners are to your standards and that makes you less of a explorer and more of a spoilt brat.Where do you come from?Let me un your country which must be totally awesome but your too ignorant to defend that one too!

Since when is this a place to correct people’s grammar? but btw, it’s “an explorer, not a explorer”… not judging tho.
Kindly step out of your little bubble of self hate and insecurity and understand that the world is not against you and Mark was simply describing a feeling he got, which isn’t so bad to say. Who hired you as feelings police? and how does it affect you how he or anyone else feels? Mark and many expatriates can live anywhere in the world, but they chose to live here so respect is the least you can give them for loving your country and being productive in it!
Sending you love Halla Kuwait

The salads are okay, the pastries and desserts are good. The main courses and appetizers are horrible, like honestly the worst thing we ever tried in Kuwait. To me this did not match up to say Dean Deluca (if we think of them to be in the same category- a franchise). Even though the salads were good i would not go to it again because places like GIA,Poele etc. are even better.

Nonetheless the outdoor seating is gorgeous, I just really wish they would rethink their dishes and the way they are prepared.

Not true at all dee_sas. Atleast when we tried it today at JACC. This place is absolutely the best! I was back in Italy.

The restaurants has a very limited menu, four main dishes in a set menu, few salads
And that’s it !! It’s not worth The waiting time, nor the trip to try it.
