New Restaurant: USQUYU

I’m pretty sure that I’m butchering the pronunciation of the restaurant but, USQUYU (oos-ku-you?) is a new restaurant that just opened up in Shuwaikh. The food is inspired by Peruvian cuisine and the interior looks pretty interesting based on the photos I’ve seen.

I haven’t had the time yet to pass by and try it, but if you’re looking for something new, you could check this place out. They’re currently only open from 6PM to 11PM. They’re on instagram @usquyu and here is their location on [Google Maps]

What a terrible waste of marketing.

I don’t know why you would post this Mark, maybe they are friends of yours. Their Instagram and website are both bare. No pictures of their food offerings, no menu in sight what so ever. Seems like a pretentious startup, I’m coming to eat not to lounge on your furniture.

Why even post about this, couldn’t you have waited till there actual content to report?

why the fuck are you so angry? no i don’t know the owners, and i don’t care if they don’t have pictures of every fucking dish on their menu. you sound like you’re pissed off because you had an idea of a Peruvian restaurant and they ended up opening before you.

the place opened up like 3 fucking days ago, its a soft launch so they don’t have to market it or send you every picture of every dish on the menu to your whatsapp. they don’t even have to post anything on their instagram, its not a requirement for a restaurant.

and its none of your fucking business why i post what i post. its a new place, i’m super busy right now to pass by and try it out, but doesn’t mean i can’t tell my readers about it. what the fuck is wrong with you?

Thank you Mark for updating us on these amazing new places. Finally a Peruvian joint in Kuwait \o/

Literally G-searching for an upcoming R&D trip to Kuwait from Bahrain since Kuwait is the epicenter of F&B development in the GCC. I always check your page for the ons-goings.
This thread just put coffee through my nose on an otherwise mundane Wednesday.
Hah!
