Four new restaurants have opened up next to each other on Blajat Street, JJ’s Burgers, Sandawicha, Meywa and Abou Jassem. Have’t tried any of them but I do like the wooden looking (dont’ think its real wood) exterior facade of the restaurants. Makes the whole thing look a lot more interesting.

Whatever happened to the Mooya Burger joint that was supposed to open in Mahboula? The signs came down and now it has become something else. I think it was the same group that opened Rowdy Taco and Smash Burger.
Whatever happened to GT Burger? It was supposed to be the Papa Johns burger place without a name. https://248am.com/mark/kuwait/burger-review-papa-johns-burgers/
There is also a GTO burger place in Qortuba co-op which was never opened.
Correction: next to eachother
Yup just fixed it thanks
I drive by this small plaza everyday but it never seems to be busy. Too many choices!
Bou Jassem is really good you should try it ๐ they have an awesome Shawerma called Bou Jassem Shawerma and the Tawouk is the only one that taste precisely like Lebanon!
I will try out the JJ soon, I’ll update you on their burgers soon. ๐
One would think that if you build restaurants across the street from the sea, that you might have outdoor seating, but noooo. That would make too much sense.
I tried JJ’s and it was really good. But there was barely any indoor seating
According to a staffmember, all four restos have the sams owner and operate mainly as takeaway places. I had to ask coz he was carrying 4 menus on him.
