Pizzas are the New Burgers

Looks like the next big thing foodwise in Kuwait could be pizzas! This past year a number of local pizza concepts have popped up and I think more and more places will be popping up soon as well. I’m trying to compile a list of these local concepts (not franchises) similar to how I did with my coffee list and below is what I’ve come up with so far:

BARBA.
Brooklyn
Doppio
Feynman’s
Flame
Ovenly
Piccola Milano
Pinocchio’s Pizza
SOLO Pizza
Super Slice
Table Otto
The Tiny Table
Trapani
YELO!

I’m sure I’ve missed out on a bunch so if you know of any that should be on this list, let me know in the comments below!

Finally. The more pizza places the better. There needs to be more pizza competition, tired of mainly having one style of pizza.

I tried solo and it was really good but can’t have it often coz it’s pricey but feeling a pizza tonight which one shall I go for??

Recently, I have had Blaze Pizza at The Avenues in Bahrain. While it’s a chain based restaurant, I found it to be delicious and refreshing. I was wondering if they are gonna open up more branches in the region…

Yeah, some premium ingredients on poorly-made dough. After having been to Italy a couple of times I honestly couldn’t have a good pizza again in Kuwait. You can have some cheese and tomatoes on perfectly-made dough and its like one of the tastiest creations ever for only 10 euros.

You can add Solia to this list. Solia Murroj is opening next week and we will have a top notch pizza from a Top Chef from Napoli.

Solia Avenues is already open but doesn’t have pizza.

Please come visit us.

I don’t think they are the new burger/coffee. They are not at the “Place anyword” Burger/Coffe name yet.

There’s Feynman’s Pizza, but I don’t know if it’s local or a franchise.

As much as Pizza Places have opened in Kuwait, sadly still can’t find any that can compare to what I have in Italy or Eurupe, not juicy and rich enough! I prefer NY Style over Napoletana. So far my fav is Blaze and its a franchise.
