This information is incorrect.

It would take 7min. to pass 7miles if a car were going 120kmph.

7miles, means there were 3755 cars in line, which is complete BS, as it would take more than 24 hours to service all those cars.

So it cant be 7miles or even 2miles.

I also read it in another book too, fast food nation. Although i highly doubt its true; and ,like mark, i didn’t find any sources on that piece of information.

7 miles is 11.26 kilometers. A rough distance computation on Google maps shows that the last car in line would be parked at the Radisson Hotel near Messilah.
I don’t know about the source, but I can imagine this guy saying to driver of the car in front of him “Is this the line for McDonalds?”.
And knowing Kuwait drivers, sure…he will stay in line patiently there, instead of going on the left lane till he reaches McDonalds and suddenly swerving to his right.

Actually according to Google Maps the line would start from Showbiz which is just before scientific center. If you take into consideration people most likely formed two lines in typical kuwait style then the line would have been shorter say half the distance which is from Marina Mall.

When I was a kid I saw that line I remember that many cars were parking just to get a meal it was insane

Its 2013 and after watching Cheese Cake Factory line even though people are prestige conscious, you can partially believe this fact !

I remember the line starting just before the swimming pool complex. As i recall it all the lanes in the gulf road were congested. I dont remember how long we waited though.
