Rio – A Brazilian Steakhouse

A new Brazilian restaurant called “Rio” is opening tomorrow in Kuwait City right next to Ubon (in Aljawhara Tower). I haven’t tried it yet but a friend of mine who went to a tasting did and told me the food wasn’t bad and the interior made him feel like he was dining in Manhattan. They’re soft launching the restaurant tomorrow (Monday) and they’ll be opening from 7PM to 11PM.

Thanks Ali

Nice. How come there are no really fancy restaurants in Kuwait anyways? It is kind of surprising giving the spending power and love of food.

actually there are no fancy restaurants in Kuwait because people refuse to obey the dress code rules, you see a teenager with his crocs and sloppy shorts entering a fancy restaurant turning it into “a fast food environment” this is normal here.

The selection of food available in kuwait and fine dining restaurants that are available in kuwait are unprecedented. We have excellent selection and choice more than anywhere else I have seen. Try them and you will not be disappointed, but don’t expect them to be cheap.

There is a large parking building right behind Rio, there is another large parking building right across the street from Rio and there is another one behind that (in Al Muthana). Finally there is one more even larger parking building across the street from RIo but on the left side.

So 4 large multi-floor parking lots all a maximum of 2 minutes walk away and you can’t find parking? I used to work in Aljawhara and I never had problems finding parking during the day when offices are occupied yet alone in the evening when the parking lots are like ghost towns.

I Know about those buildings but they are full most of the time due the business day 09:00 to 05:00.
it would be perfect for people who works around to get their lunch break in.

I used to work there during the day and I rarely found the parking I used to go to across the street full. And If it was full I always parked in Muthana or the other one on the other side of Rio. Plus this place is open 7PM to 11PM which is in the evening.

So there is plenty of available parking during the day and a lot more at night. But like usual, people in Kuwait like to bash everything for no god damn reason…
