Quick question, does anyone know of a Vietnamese restaurant in Kuwait?

Pei Wei have some Vietnamse dishes other than that i can’t think of any
A friend who works at the Vietnamese embassy told me there aren’t any as of yet. However, her co-worker told me the Embassy is “trying to open some soon”.

I think Fusion on the gulf does. It’s in the same building as fish market next to Kuwait towers.
Pei Wei has no Vietnamese dishes. Zero.
They used to have some Vietnamese rice dish .. am talking about they had newly opened .. dunno if they’re still serving ..
Thanks but I was hoping for a Vietnamese restaurant and not a dish. You know like a small hole in the wall place.
Like I said, I got word from a Vietnamese acquaintance here who said that the Embassy is trying to open some restaurants soon but sadly, there aren’t any as of yet.
Vietnamese food is REALLY popular on the West Coast so I wouldn’t be surprised if a Kuwaiti who lived there opens a Vietnamese restaurant here soon.
I personally wouldn’t mind seeing a pan-African restaurant here. People here need to be exposed to African cuisine which is different but also somewhat similar to Arabic cuisine. Senegalese food is the bomb.
sadly, all they picked up from the west coast are burger joints !
i would rather prefer someone of Vietnamese origin opening a small lil restaurant serving traditional food
The Ethiopian restaurant here is good!
Oh it’s awesome. I go there all the time. Not as awesome as the food I had in Ethiopia but whenever I need a quick fix, I definitely go there.
Yes! I really enjoyed the food in Ethiopia, but they do a pretty good job here too 😀
Word of advice: Make sure to ask for their authentic “teff” injera, which they get from Ethiopia, whenever you go.
Otherwise, they’ll serve you the locally made one that’s made out of wheat and is inferior to the original.

I have been hoping for a Pho place to open up in Kuwait! Everytime I go home, I always make a stop at a Pho place.. it’s just so delicious!
There’s a restaurant in Muthana next to Ginger that looks Asian to me, not sure which exact cuisine though.
Ginger is also a personal favorite Asian restaurant of mine, but I believe they are Thai not Vietnamese.

I am a Vietnamese here and I hope one day we can open a Vietnamese restaurant in Kuwait.
As I understanding,Vietnamese food is much preferred by Western people than Arabic people. And this is the big question need to answer for any business man try to bring our delicious food here.
Pei Wei does not have orginal Vietnamese cuisine. If they can have a Vietnamese chef… I am sure they will have much more customers.
In Bahrain, UAE… we have alot of Vietnamese chefs…
I’ve googled this several times too. Glad to see you ask the question but unfortunately the same response as I got when I tried looking it up. No Vietnamese Pho and No Korean BBQ, sadly.
It would be funny if they actually opened a ‘Pho Phuc Lai’ in Kuwait 😀
